Jacinta Tran, NP

Jacinta Tran, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in cardiology care for people with structural and valvular heart conditions. She works with cardiologists to provide a personalized care plan for every patient. Jacinta's passion is to improve her patients' cardiovascular health, quality of life and independence. She enjoys guiding her patients through their procedures, answering their questions and working closely with them to achieve their goals. She was inspired to become a nurse practitioner by the many women in her family who work in medicine. Her health care journey began years before she became a registered nurse, then a nurse practitioner in 2015, as she has always loved caring for people. Before joining Scripps, Jacinta worked for several years in general cardiology with a special interest in electrophysiology. In her spare time Jacinta and her husband enjoy watching their children play sports and spending time with family and friends.
