Dr. Jacqueline Lavern Hampton, MD

My first and every subsequent visit to Dr. Hampton’s office has been compassionate, caring, thorough, and very professional. She reviews meds, chronic issues, any new symptoms, and any other conditions not being treated by her which my impact my overall health. She has helped other doctors who have needed information from her to assist me, and she has referred me to an excellent doctor for a gynecological exam. Dr. Hampton’s office staff have always been courteous and helpful. I am grateful to have Dr. Hampton in Clarksdale.

I cannot believe that an educated doctor would treat anyone the way she did me. I went in for a new patient meeting and then she changed it to complete physical but she never examined me or the knee I complained about. Instead, she sat at the computer and, I guess because of my age, came up with arthritis in my knee and she wouldn't budge from it even though I tried to explain that I thought it was muscle pain. She treated me like a child and never a smile. After I insinuated that this wasn't a physical, she decided to listen to my chest (I have emphysema and you would have thought that would have been one of the first things she would have done). Scary that there are doctors out there like this.
