If it wasn't for Dr. Washington I would have never found out what was going on with my body. I went to doctor after doctor and not one gave me that right diagnosis's. As my body was getting weaker and weaker I beginning to lose hope. What was going on with my body is was puzzling to me everyday. Luckily, my mother found Dr. Washington and she tested me on everything and I later found out that I had Myasthenia Gravis. Although it wasn't the best news to hear I was at least happy to know how I can deal with this illness and still have the best life. Even after I move back to my home state, Dr. Washington & her staff set me up with a Neurologist doctor in my hometown to help me with the continuation of healthcare. Her service to me was the greatest!!!!!! Kudos to Dr. Washington for going above and beyond her service to her patients.

Terrible experience. Dr. Washington was not very caring and I received a bill for $800 that I DID not approve. She did not explain what kinds of tests she was completing nor how much they were going to cost. She was very cold and did not seem to enjoy her job.

Best Neurologist in Atlanta. Knows her profession.

I recently requested that Dr. Washington provide her expert opinion for my cousin. The reason she was selected is because of her exceptional clinical skills and thoughful consultations she has provided to me in the past. (She is a recent examiner for neurology oral boards which recognizes her as a top notch clinician in the field.) I am a board certified neurologist and would only entrust my family memebers to those that I believe are the very best physicians. She provided the diagnosis and a treatment plan that were thoughtful and helpful. I appreciate her timely response and concern for his health. We are fortunate to have such a high quality neurologist in the area because there are so few that will provide their time and a quality office experience. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Dr Washington is a very smart doctor with clinical skills at an expert level and she also has a great bedside manner. She is able to place a patient at ease due to her broad knowledge base of medicine and her specialty of neurology. I liked her immediately due to her calm approach and her explanation of every step of tests performed and the plan of care she outlined. She cares about your concerns and actively listens to her patients. As a registered nurse I know when a doctor is intelligent,knows what a patient's clinical symptoms mean and more important knows how to help and treat patients conditions. Dr Washington is definitely one of the BEST doctor you can see if you have any neurology conditions. She is the BEST !!!

WORSE DR I HAVE EVER SEEN

I was sent to this Dr. for EMG/NCS through Work Comp and she found all everything to be normal. However, I disputed her results and had another test done through my private insurance and not one ,but, eight abnormalities was found on that EMG/NCS. She does seem to make patients think that their pain is in their head. I agree with the previous poster.

I was refered to Dr. Washington by another doctor, to have some test studies done. The staff was professional. I personally loved the fact that all of Dr. Washington's credituals are posted in the waiting area her office, so I felt very comfortable when it was time to go back. Dr. Washington greeted me in a very kind and professional manor, She explained what was going on at every moment of my test. She listened closely as I discribed the pain that I was having. Other than a little discomfort from the test itself, I have to say that this was a very pleasant doctors visit, I would definately recommend her to my family and friends.

I was wrongly diagnosed by her and started taking medication I didn't really need. After spending months visiting several doctors, I finally found one who knew what was going on with me and why I was in pain.

I was referred to Dr. W from my neuro in G'ville. was still having alot of problems with my legs & feet due to CIDP/GBS that I had developed back in 2003. After Dr W gave me a nerve conduction test along w/ the muscle test. Which I was NOT informed before I got there that I was going to have.Came totally un-prepared. So I do the test then she proceeds to tell me " I do NOT have CIDP" after I have been diagnosed w/ this illness in 2003 from a very reputable/highly respected neurologist in Florida, I had also had a very bad case of GBS, and it is common knowledge that many times after having GBS, it becomes CIDP. She tried to tell me that MY problem was in my lumbar spine, BUT I'd just had an MRI with contrast that showed NO major problems @ all. NOT to mention that I'd had an MRI back in 2003 to confirm that MY leg weakness & neuropathy was NOT coming from my spine & it confirmed that NO way was any of my problems coming from my back. She lauged @ several of my statements, making me… feel like I had no idea what I was saying to her, & that I was ignorant about my own condition, when in fact I have done tons of research about my illness. She laughed & said that they DID NOT treat GBS with cortisteroids, & I said " well they did in my case" I've done the research & YES they do use that method of treatment, albeit not the # 1 preferred method. NOT sure where she's getting her information from. I cancelled the MRI that she wanted me to do today, because I feel that after sending her MY copy of MRI from ONLY 6mths ago that should have been sufficient enough for her. But obviously it wasn't. I'm just very disappointed in MY personal experience w/ this office visit. @ this time, I have NO plans on returning.
