Summary
I grew up in Los Angeles as the eldest of three brothers. From a young age I knew that I wanted to be a physician. I went to UC San Diego for college, where I majored in biochemistry and cell biology. I then graduated from medical school at USC and went to Boston to do my residency in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. I stayed on at Harvard University to pursue fellowship training in pain management. While in Boston, I became a Red Sox and Patriots fan but also had to stay true to my Los Angeles Lakers. Being outdoors has always been a favorite pastime, and Southern California has always been an ideal location for me. Now I am happy to be back in San Diego with my baby daughter and beautiful wife.
