Dr. Eslami kept us waiting for nearly two hours in the ER before arriving in jeans and with an attitude. I understand this, being that she was on call. She treated my 98 year old mother for a huge gash in her forehead. Dr. Eslami stood for the short duration of her work, leaning over the hospital bed rail at arms length, which made for imprecise pulling, dabbing, and stitching. Her touch was brusk and not at all gentle. Momma cried from the pressures, pulling and manipulation of the torn tissues before numbing. While numbing, the needle was very large rather than a child's needle for a tiny woman, and it was repeatedly jabbed rather than inserted with finesse. The right side of Momma's wound was not numb and Dr Eslami kept sewing it with a thick, curved needle (the exact kind with which my father used to close our Thanksgiving turkey).There were several HAIRS sewn into the wound, and when I pointed to the loops of hair sticking out, Dr. Eslami pulled on one of them and said, "Hm, it's… stitched in there." and snapped the hair off, leaving it inside. Momma's face is held together by thick fishing line "thread", a mound (without exaggeration) of butterfly bandaids, painted with smears of a gluestick, topped with one gauze pad and a single piece of tape. Her bloody forehead was never cleaned with saline, and we took her home with a bloody face just as she came in, with the wound actively bleeding as well. This was not a sterile procedure. I pray there is no outcome of infection. This just wasn't what I expected nor what I experienced when I had plastic surgery on my face. The Dr. I had sat down, positioned me comfortably and with consideration of my having positional vertigo. He wore a special eye piece for micro work, thoroughly cleaned and draped my face for a sterile field, and spent an hour carefully stitching so that I would not have a scar. He checked in with me often to make sure I was doing ok, and let know about longer it would take. I expected this from Dr. Eslami and I don't consider this the work of a plastic surgeon. The ER resident could have done better I am just shocked, and I will no doubt be shocked again when I receive a Sotheby's bill for bargain basement work! My rating solely reflects my experience with Dr. Eslami. The hospital staff were exceptional!

Love her and all her staff! Such a comfortable and smooth process from beginning to end. Highly recommend

She should listen to patients when they tell her their breasts are not the same size during the reconstruction process. Then, they would not have to always pad one side of their bra to look decent in their clothing. She is a very nice Dr. but needs to listen to patients. No one knows your body like your do.
