Dr. Jamal Mohamm Abdel-Halim, MD

Dr. Halim is a great doctor. He spends time with you and really gets to know you. Unfortunately, his office is staffed with a group of rude women. Their only concern seems to be getting you off the phone or away from the desk. If you understand Spanish, you will also be lucky enough to hear these women speaking about the patients (sometimes using racial slurs) right in front of them. I have left a previous physician due to his office staff and I will never be back to this office as long as these women are there. If you can stomach the attitude of his staff, I would recommend Dr. Halim.

dr. halim is an outstanding doctor. his front office staff however, are rude and inconsiderate.because dr. halim is such a good and caring doctor i have tolerated the rudeness of his front office staff- but if it were any other doctor- i wouold not.So, GREAT doctor- wonderful person, caring, concerned and solution driven. But beware of the girl(s) at the desk- brutal!

Beautiful, brand new office. Nice staff. Excellent doctor. Spends a lot of time with patient. You get to see the doctor and not a nurse practitioner.

I totaly disagree with the previous reviews. A great neurologist, very caring, very informative, professional. Doesn't rush you, spends time and asks many questions about your illness. Beautiful new office, very clean, chandeliers,nice furniture. Staff are courteous. It is a very busy office and the staff do what they can to help. Not true about bringing you every month. It depends on what you have and if the doctor feels he needs to follow your care monthly then that's a good doctor. My follow-up is every 3 to 4 months unless I decide I need it sooner or maybe later. Wait time varies depending on the schedule they have each day. As a patient you have to understand that other people having appointments on the same day you go may have more complicated issue requiring more time from the doctor. I have to wait from 30minutes to one hour at my other doctors, so the wait time is normal. I highly recommend this Neurologist.

EXACTLY like the other reviewer said... office is dirty, very young and RUDE girls, too busy texting on their cellphones to answer you, rolling their eyes when you interrupt them. Office does not respond when pharmacy calls in for a refill approval. When I called to ask why they did not follow through, they got mad and hung up on me. Dr. also asked me what I wanted to take when I presented my symptoms. I am not a doctor, how would I know?? Now he requires MONTHLY visits in order to get refills. He does not do any kind of evaluation, just charges over $100 to scribble out a prescription. I have changed doctors. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!!
