Dr. James Bruce Atcheson, MD

For years I just did not feel good. I was not sick I just had no get up and go my primary Dr.Kalon said let's get youvseen by a Specialist and referred me. He did lots of lab work talked to me about his thoughts regarding my syptoms and out of no where on a Sunday evening he told me to find a pharmacy and get on vitiam D like now and doseage and in a week wanted to see he has made the biggest difference in my life and health. He listens to my thoughts band hears me out...I am very grateful for him looking after me..thank you Dr. James Atcheson.

First I want to say the nurse is incompetent. No one could get their facts right. It took them four months to get the correct information. Then when I did show up I was told that there is nothing wrong, to remove the organ and that I am just big boned. He changed my medication to a higher dose to get the weight off and told me to contact him to tell him what happens. Didn't tell me that he and his staff go on vacation. Here I am waiting and waiting for his staff to call the pharmacy.Finally after eight days of calling, I don't get an apology. I was told to call him again. And the weight came off with the meds, still is, I called and left a message, he was mad that I called. I told him the positive result and he said, " Is THAT the reason why you Called! I have other calls to make," And he hung up on me. I will not go back due to incompetent staff and a rude doctor.

Dr. Atcheson is the absolute perfect Doctor! He is extremely knowledgable but always quick to contact whatever information or Consults whomever needed regarding his patients. Having been my Doctor since 1984 for Endocrine and very complicated genetic immune disorders, he is always willing to handle my emergency medical crises; Pulmonary Emboli; Renal failure, even when other specialists found a serious problem but would not handle care or treatment. He always responds, most times in person, to report test and Lab results, most especially is willing to handle my required hospitalizations when the need arises. Our trust in him extends to our daughter, another patient of Dr. Atcheson, for her medical care as well. As a nurse myself I am always impressed and so grateful for his continued dedication and genuine caring and attentive manner. Although he must be heading for much needed retirement we will continue to turn to him as long as he is in practice. Thank you, Dr. Atcheson for… your years of caring, kindness and expert care.
