Dr. James Harold Bates, MD

Dr. Bates has been the only Dr. Who listens and understands my friend who has severe neuropathy and osteoporosis with numerous fractures and isn't able to heal due to her health conditions. He explains things for her to understand and is always compassionate and I really think he's the best doctor we have had the pleasure of visiting, and we've seen several. Thank you Dr. Bates for taking good care of Barbara.

I have been a patient of Dr Bates for several years for both back and knee problems. He is very careing and takes time with you. He listens to any questions you have. He is the best Dr. For just about anything you may need help with. His care and concern is honest. I would recommend him to anyone as the very best choice. His staff is friendly, helpful, very courteous and also show care and concern. I worked within the medical field for several years and find this office to be too rated in all aspects.

I was referred to dr bates for shoulder neck and back pain, then fell off a bike and hurt my hip. He has spent time with me and seems to care about my injuries and pain. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Bates takes the time with you that you need, he explains everything so you understand what he can do to help you he is very good and strict about the medicine that he prescribed for you and if you follow his directions you will be able to get to a place of comfort and healing. I have never had a doctor that listens and generally cares for your well-being.

I have been seeing Dr. Bates for over five years for a degenerative jaw condition due to an injury when I was younger. When I first saw Dr. Bates, I was so absolutely taken aback by his caring and professional demeanor. He took the time to assess my severe chronic jaw and facial pain and I have continued to see him with great success. The first time I saw him, I was in unbearable pain, as jaw conditions many times are not taken seriously by many doctors. He has worked with me through the ups and downs of my conditions and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He has gone above and beyond for me several times during my five year history with him. He obviously cares very much for his patients and I would and have recommend him for any orthopedic condition without hesitation.

Unprofessional and no results!

Dr. Bates has always been available and knowledgeable. I've suffered from back, neck and hip problems for years. I've worked with many physicians. Dr. Bates is one of the few who actually worked with me to discover and treat the root causes of my problems. He works with his patients and even gave me a no cost test for carpel tunnel just to rule it out. I highly recommend Dr. Bates.

I saw Dr Bates for almost 1 year. I have been on pain medication for about 4 years. In my opinion he was one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. From the 1st day I started seeing him all he wanted to do was start dropping all my medications down until I was off of them completely. I live in pain every day and my pain level has continued to go up. Dr Bates did not seem to care about how much pain I was in or how it was effecting me. He never seemed to listen to anything I had to say, and did not seem to have my best interest in mind what so ever. In my opinion all Dr Bates seems to care about is getting your money. I do not see Dr Bates any longer and am so happy to never have to deal with him ever again.

Dr. Bates has helped me immeasurably when other doctor's hadn't a clue what was wrong. He spent time with me and other time outside our appointment checking on things that were affecting me. He didn't just hand me some sample pills and say, "OK, go home and try these and let me know if they don't work."Dr. Bates is thorough and professional and without him I would probably just be "living with the pain," because the doctors I consulted before being referred to him just really didn't know what to do.

dr bates was falling asleep while i was talking to him. i have a whitness to this. the report he sent to ssi was in correct. i have never been more disapointed with the resualt i recived from dr bates!!!!
