Dr. James Howell Blackburn II, MD

I had to live with pain for one year after surgery with Blackburn. I repeatedly told him of my pain after surgery as he took several x Rays and I was told everything looked fine and he and his staff made me look as if I was a pill seeker. I went to harborview and had dr Jason ko tell me NONE of my hand bones had fused, this after a year of pain and no help at all from Blackburn. He is a contentious pompous arrogant man who will not admit his work was unsatisfactory. Do not let this man do the same to you.

Been a patient for many years and a variety of procedures. He is the best, especially with hand surgery. I didn't think I would ever get full use of my hands again. I highly recommend Dr. Blackburn and his staff

Dr Blackburn is a very no nonsense practical fellow.He has steered me in the right direction so far and has built a level of trust with me that you only hear about from family physicians.

Dr. Blackburn made me feel very comfortable. He educated me, answered all my questions, allowed humor to come in to our discussion in a very professional manner and drew some great diagrams. I did not feel like he was rushing to get to his next appointment.

Dr. Blackburn is very professional. His bedside manner is very med-hard. But you don't want a Dr. that is funny. He knows what he's doing. His Staff is very nice .

Did not read my chart - talked down to me. Acted like I was stupid. Offered no solution

Dr. Blackburn was very caring. He took all the time necessary to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend him to anyone wishing elective plastic surgery.

i had breast reduction from this doctor and im am extremly un happy. i feel like i was lied to . he took of way more then i was told he would and it looks so stupied its healing all wroung.
