Dr. James A Brady, MD

My wife had a small tumor in the skin removed by Dr. Brady. She had gone to a dermatologist that diagnosed it and was hesitant to offer much guidance on handling it. Dr. Brady on the other hand was highly detailed about the situation in terms of anatomy, procedure, and follow-up. The nurse was excellent and helped make her feel even more comfortable than I could have imagined. Dr. Brady is very personable and obviously among the best in the region in his field. After the dermatologist visit, my wife was left worrying and trying to make a decision based on less fact and guidance than she should have had, but after speaking with Dr. Brady in depth she was positive that she was able to make a well-informed and correct choice in having it removed. Not only was her stress level lowered considerably simply after the consult, but she was also actually smiling and happy immediately after the procedure. The office itself is extremely clean and well kept and the entire visit was among the… best and most efficient health care visits either of us has had in the past. I cannot recommend Dr. Brady highly enough.

Horrible place, office is so unorganized and they have no regard for peoples time, effort or feelings. Twice I showed up, had paid, had rearranged my life…had medical clearance. All of my ducks were in a row. He didnt even have the courtesy to cancel and refund me in person, He hid behind his nurse. Hotrible place witv heartless, clueless staff.

Dr Brady told my girlfriend she would have minimal to no scar from his procedure. Unfortunately he was to lazy to use more than 9 stitches on a 4” incision. I had a cut less than half that length on my wrist that came from a bottle and the walk in clinic I went to used 14 stitches to close it and the scar is very hard to see. I would recommend steering clear of this Dr and surgery at SH Hospital in general.

Took his $200 consultation fee very fast. My 18 year old son was told to make a follow up appt “if he wanted”. Of course a kid’s broken nose that is clearly crooked needs a follow-up!!! So I called back about 8 times to make a follow up appt... each time Dr. was too busy and staff completely oblivious. Finally we were told the Dr was going to call me back for a Friday follow up appt. for my son after I had to call each day asking for a return phone call to schedule the follow up. Friday came and went... we stayed home all day thinking we were getting a call to come in at a moments notice ... no call ever came. This office knew time was an issue with my son bc he was heading off to college. I decided to call another southampton plastic surgeon that DAY who really is the BEST surgeon in SH and problem was immediately addressed with care and concern.

This dr left me with a horrific scar that drs have since shook their heads about. I am sorry I somehow fell into this office. I did a scar revision that I doubted doint but he talked me into only to leave me with a horrible horrible scar on my face. Also, the office has no idea what they are doing. They asked me for copay amounts which made me realize they mistakened me for someone else. Sitting in the office when I had a 9:30 appointment and watching 10:30 appointments walk in ahead of me. Never experienced that confusion of patients. What a horrific experience..

Dr. Brady is a incredibly man of medicine and plastic surgery his enthusiasm is so strong your confidence level just goes up up up Thank you Dr. Brady for taking care of me I am grateful

Compassionate. Thorough. Knows what he is doing. By far the best doctor I have ever known.

After a car accident and ambulance ride while away from home (NYC), I needed emergency hand surgery on a holiday. I was nervous and scared of what would happen to my hand and who would be on call.Dr. Brady came quickly, expertly assessed my injury, and immediately set me at ease. He explained fully what he could tell from the exam, what he would have to figure out from surgery, and what would happen depending upon what he found.At every step of the way he was courteous, informative, soothing, and instilled confidence. My husband actually later remarked that no doctor had put him at ease faster than he had.Our follow up team have all commented how expertly the wound seemed to be dressed, and those who have worked with him also raved. We frankly had no choice in being treated by Dr. Brady since it was an emergency, but knowing what we know now we would choose over and over. We can't recommend enough.

Dr Brady was kind caring and has a great bedside manner. Would have him do other procedures
