Dr. James Travis Burt, MD

On first visit I saw Dr Burt. On second visit after myelogram did not see Dr Burt to have results interpreted, only saw NP and PA. NP left exam room to go and talk to Dr Burt and then return and tell me what he said. I think it is very unprofessional for a Dr not to see his patient face to face especially when interpretation of results will result in decision to have surgery or not. I was over an hour in the waiting room before seeing the PA. I will find another Dr who is interested in seeing his patients and can keep his appointments.

I saw him in 2018 for a consult on my back. I knew him from before this though, in a professional capacity. I dont believe he took enough time, nor really listened to what I was saying, so I am getting my surgery done elsewhere. Smart man but has no personality or bedside manner. Those who only want a good surgeon and not worried about personality, I say there are plenty of good docs here with both, so I will have one with both. I will be paying for this, not the other way around, so I want it all in one person, not to much to ask. To many people in this area treat docs like they are better than sliced bread, thus giving many of them a god-complex. Let them start losing business and you will see how quick they have a nice personality to their customers all of a sudden.

Dr. Burt is very knowledgeable regarding spine conditions and answers any and all questions. His surgical skills are excellent. Following cervical spine surgery, healing was complete with no complications. I highly recommend Dr. Burt.

I was seen by Dr Burt on Oct 31, 2018. I found him to be very professional and friendly. I will be doing a followup with him.

I have read about all of these comments, i have to agree Dr Burt is not a social light but he certainly the man to have the scalpel in his hand. I was referred to him from my local Dr and he discovered i have bone cancer. I just keep falling apart and Dr B has done 3 surgeries on me and I foresee a 4th coming on so he will be man with scalpel in hand. If you need someone to talk sweet to you and hold your hand I am available for $25 an hours. :)

Dr. Burt performed a surgical Spohn surgery on me in approximately 2006. He does not sit at your bedside to hold your hand or kiss your cheek. But he gets the job done and done well. We are lucky to have him in this area. I opted for a neurosurgeon with expertise in his field. And that is what I received. He is the reason that I am walking and running instead of rolling in a wheelchair. Thank you, Dr. Burt!

He acts non-professional from the moment he enters the exam room until the 5 or less minutes he leaves the room. He doesn't listen to anything that you say, and interrupts you and just leaves the exam room without telling you anything. A few minutes later a nurse comes in and within a few minutes explains his 3 minute judgment call without really evaluating you. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON HIM!!!

The worst doctors I have ever seen in my entire life!!!

He is very uncaring at hatefull do your self a favor go some where else

This is one of the most dishonest human being I have ever met in my whole entire life. He is not a good man let alone a doctor. He has others in his medical perfession who will back up his lies.
