Do not see this Dr James Burton!! for the last 2 1\2 weeks experiencing the worst stabbing cramping pain in my life in my lower abdominal & terrified of it recurring as it days and will last for days! Leaving me be bedridden. He prescribed an antibiotic MY WONDERFUL of 25 plus years retired DR PETER ANDERSON. AGAIN DON'T SEE DR. BURTON UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANC. HE DOESN'T LISTEN WANTS TO ALWAYS refer you to a specialist, no EMPATHY for what you're going through! Does't address you by your name!

Dr. Burton is very clinical does not take the time to discuss health issues is more important to prescribe meds than to discuss options I had pre- diabetes for two years and this was never discussed with changing lifestyle or anything I could have done to help prevent diabetes well to late now. Dr. Burton does not consider effect of meds or interactions of medications with each other. I feel as he does not take an active role in my health care. Currently looking for another primary.

Like most Doctors he spends his time looking at the computer and going through a check list. He never remembers me and always ask me about medications listed on the computer. Like why I'm on it and what was the reason I took it and who gave it to me. I'm like really you did and when I want him to listen to me I feel he is not really listening to me or understanding the words coming out of my mouth. I have higher expectations than most people on the treatment I get. I don't like pills unless nessesary and I want the issue found, addressed and corrected. I would like the Doctor to understand that if I'm hear do to my body telling me something is wrong I want him to flat out say he is not sure or sure of the issue. To say it could be a number of things but he is chosen this treatment to help with the symptoms but he will do this and this to find out what's going on. Treatment for so many different things now a days are treated by the same pill so Doctors don't take the time find out… what's wrong. A family Doctor that I use will know me to some point and not treat me like I'm seeming them for the first time every time I come there.
