Dr. James Walter Foltz, MD

Dr Foltz was a wonderful Dr but his office closed at the end of 2025. As if 2026 the office is empty and the phone number disconnected. If you need your medical records you can contact American Medical Solutions.

Dr. Foltz is the most amazing doctor. He has incredible bed side manner, unlike any doctor I’ve ever met. He is the most caring, knowledgeable and genuine person. And he has a great sense of humor! I credit him for saving mine and my first daughters life, as well as delivering my second daughter (both via c-section & my scar is very minimal)!

I wish there were more doctors like Dr. Foltz. He is rare indeed in his caring and consideration as well as his expertise. He delivered my 3 grandchildren and they are now in their 20's.

I have never felt more comfortable, cared for, and friendly staff. My husband and I went in for blood work for our new baby. I started bleeding on the way in. The receptionist rushed me back, the Doctor came right in and told us the devesting news. Dr. Flotz made us feel like no Dr. I have ever met. He was so compassionate and kind. I work at a hospital and never expirenced such care.

After reading the one star and four star reviews for Dr. Foltz, it appears that the experience you have with him depends on the day you see him. For me, I view Dr. Foltz as incompetent, non-professional and arrogant. When I was in his office on the Thursday that I delivered my baby, he actually broke my water without advising me he was going to do so. Guess he had plans for the weekend and didn't want to screw them up by having to go to the hospital for a delivery. While in labor I got the impression that he was more anxious to get back home than to take the necessary time for me to give birth. I would never go back to him.

Dr. Foltz is compassionate, professional and projects a comfortable atmosphere during exams. He also takes enough time with me and listens intently to my concerns or problems I am having. He was my mothers doctor also. I'm 62 and can't really recall how long I have been his patient, I'd guess at least 30 years. Trust me, he's heard it all!!

Dr. Foltz delivered both of my children and recently performed my hysterectomy surgery. He is a wonderful doctor ( and amateur comedian, he thinks). He has a great sense of humor and is so positive and encouraging even during stressful times. I hope I never have to find another obgyn.

I met Dr. Foltz after having a weird pelvic diagnosis, he did emergency surgery. He was so very helpful, understanding and kind. I then used him as my primary OB-GYN. He helped me change my life around for the better, he was an inspiration for me. I was a high risk pregnancy and saw him every two weeks... we did bet on the babies sex, name, weight and all. He is a very kind, gentle man and I cannot wait for him to deliver my next baby, God willing!
