I lived a genuine nightmare for over 3 years as a patient of Dr.Gerndt. i was on supervision and ordered into weekly one one with the good doctor. It was expensive and after all of this he betrayed me. And helpef send me to prison for notjing more the rules violations. Evil man who i hope meets harsh judgememt at the hand of god.

My experience w/ Dr. Gerndt was very negative. I thought he was cold, negative, and untrusting, even after I passed his polygraph test with passing colors. Sometimes I had to confront him to get his opinion on some things that were very important. I shouldn't have had to ask. Even then, it was sometimes hard to get information from him. Communication was awful, especially when it came to explaining my treatment plan and what he was telling other people in my custody case. Psychologically and legally, he wasn't helpful for me. I slowly became less trusting of him and moved on with much better results. On a positive note he is about as knowledgeable as they come. If you respond well to negative reinforcement / "tough love," and you aren't relying on him in a legal case he may be a good fit for you.
