Dr. James Nathan Goldenberg, MD

I have been a migraine sufferer for over fifty years. I have been to every headache clinic in New York City over the years. This includes NYU, Montefiore and Mt. Sinai. I met wonderful doctors and each one gave me the newest medication on the market. My migraines continued and got worse. In desperation, I found Dr. Goldenberg. After hearing my history he shook his head in sympathy. Then he told me I was to stop taking all the medications and that I was poisoning myself and would always have headaches due to the rebound syndrome. Over a period of time while weaning off the meds I suffered, but eventually found myself with fewer headaches and much less pain. Dr. Goldenberg was very empathetic. With a few more visits and tweaking of a new benign medication, I have come to a place where pain doesn't rule my life. I have the utmost faith in Dr. Goldenberg!

My first visit was not as expected. Instead of the typical 5 minutes, if your lucky, we must have talked to Dr Goldenberg for at least 30 minutes. He made my wife and myself feel very much at ease.

When to tests no answer of tests or condition only bills

This doctor is one of a kind, truly. He has a calming demeanor that makes talking to him very easy. He listens. He communicates better than any doctor I've ever been to. He personally answers messages in between his appointments. He encouraged me to see an Ehlers-Danlos specialist for a proper diagnosis. He not only gave my husband and I a direction, he spent the time researching doctors to help me decide where to go, and then answered every last question I had along the way. This is a genuinely good doctor and person. I am forever grateful that I went to see him. I highly recommend him!

The most attentive Dr. I have ever seen. Listens, acknowledges, asks questions. Extremely sincere. Honest. Truly wants to diagnose and help you.

The Dr. not only has 26 years experience but is very easy to talk to and creates an easy going atmosphere that serves to make aaaaaaaaaaaa visit very comfortable

I have had trigeminal neuralgia for 15 years. Diagnosed by another Dr., not this one because this is the least helpful office I have ever been to. I was referred here by another specialist. I have gone to this office about five times. Have suffered excrutiating facial pain for all of those 15 years. The Drs. at this office have NEVER helped me at all. No meds to help with pain, no treatment suggestions, just told to live with it. I recently saw a neurosurgeon and am now facing gamma knife surgery to treat the neuralgia and was put on tegretol to help until the surgery. My new Dr. was incredulous that the Drs. at this office did nothing to help me with the neuralgia or other valid neurological issues including that I am a falling risk which my new Dr. is also treating. For the falling risk they did tell me to go to PT but their staff never set it up. It seems that the Drs. at this office only wish to treat people with MS or who have had a stroke. If you have ANY other neurological … issue they will not help you. I will never go back to this office. I agree with the statement with whomever wrote in their review that the staff at the scheduling desk are very rude and inept. They say they will set up an X Ray or PT and call you. They do not. So glad that I finally have someone helping me elsewhere who knew exactly what to do.

Very nice, pleasant Doctor. Didn't help me much all he did was send me to PT. Tried to get a follow up as problem was still occurring, his scheduling and office staff are horrible. Tried again to schedule an appt. later on for an even worse issue. I had been referred both times by a physician. Got nowhere. He is either too picky to fit you in or it's his staff being lazy and not even telling him your message or reason for calling. I am now seeing another neurologist whom is VERY nice and easier to make apts. with. You literally have to argue with Goldenberg's staff to try to be seen, even for serious matters. Not worth it.

After searching all over Palm Beach County for a top notch doctor without an attitude, I finally found "the one" I just left his office with a feeling of being taken care of, the way it used to be. He was just wonderful, explains the situation where I can understand, very patient with me and he listens! Super nice guy and obviously exteremly smart. I highly recommend Dr. Goldenberg and every doc should model his bedside manner.
