Dr. James Sherwin Griffith, MD

I am not sure what these other people are complaining about???? If you want the doctor to spend time with you and listen to your issues then Dr. Griffith is your doctor. If you want fast solutions or to pop more pills, then find someone else. Dr. Griffith has worked with me over the last 20 years to solve a headache disorder and work with my seizure disorder. His front desk person, Jill is very helpful by phone when refills are needed.

I always wait at least 20 extra minutes because they are running late. This doctor is not personal and since my first visit I knew I'd be switching. I was also charged by him, $250 for a note for school in regards to my health. The front desk lady is rude too.

I would tell anyone contemplating going to this doctor to avoid him. He can be very damaging--in his attitude toward a patient and in his approach to the patient's situation.

This man is experienced and is not quick to jump to conclusions or push pills at you. If you want someone who will research your problem, then this is the doc for you. If you want a quick fix, or a wrong diagnosis then see someone else. Dr. Griffith is tried and true!

I have been a patient of Dr. Griffith for 37-38 years now. He always takes as much time as needed and answers my questions. He has helped get my condition under control and has kept it under control for many years now. Sometimes the wait is long but I know he is taking the needed time with his patients. He remembers my past visits and makes sure things has improved from before. His staff is very good and efficient, I wish all medical offices were run as well as this one.

.lazy needs to retire not a good doctor

Everything went really well. Everyone was top notch. Referral was perfect. Doc really impressed this old lady who can be persnickety! lol. Oh...Doc does not like to wear shoes. I like that in a person!

The wait time is deceiving -- first you sit in the waiting room for 20 minutes, then you also wait in an exam room for at least 1/2 an hour. Dr. Griffith's staff is great -- everyone from his receptionist to his EEG Tech. However, Dr. Griffith himself leaves much to be desired. After multiple MRIs, EEGs and meds, he did not diagnose my problem and even laughed at me when I asked if it might be MS. My family doctor (without Dr. Griffith's help) finally diagnosed my problem and is actively working with other specialists to help me. Unless you like wasting your time and money, avoid this man.
