Dr. Hirsch did a great job on my neck. He is not my issue. The phone nurse is extremely rude, to the point that I will be going elsewhere for any further problems

Tina comes off like a ten year old given the power to be nasty and short with people. The rest of the staff aren't any nicer. It's not worth it to have to deal with the office staff. If you have surgery by this place you are stuck with them. No other doctors will clean up after they do surgery on you. Until they do something about the way the office staff treats you I'd stay away from this place. There's other doctors who are good surgeons and treat you better before and after surgery. After surgery don't expect any After care you will Not get Any. According to the way I and others have been treated if you are still in pain After surgery you are a drug seeker even if they see that you still need surgery. You're left with the impression that they really don't like having to bother with you. And it doesn't matter if you are the only person in the waiting room you get to sit there for hours and listen to the office gossip about other people and where they're going for lunch. I hate this… place because I've been treated so poorly by office staff mostly.

Dr. Hirsch performed 2 neck surgery's. The 2nd a double fusion. never helped. After surgery for a year and a half a complained of being able to shallow and would choke on food, something I never had all my life. Each time I went in he told me that it would get better, never did even 6 years later now. After 2 years I went to my Throat Doctor and had many test and xrays. Results stated "it was cervical related" I told Hursch about results and he said he didn't know what it means. I told my Primary and she said she knew exactly what it meant but wouldn't specify. Well I know it was the result of my fusion, just what I guess I will never know and have to live with. Well after 3 different surgery's with my neck and back I continually live in pain. 3 years ago, Hursch told me there was nothing more he could do even after MRI reveal a large bone spur in my neck and bulging disc's in my back. So for 3 more years I lived with pain because nothing more can be done until my wonderful pain… management doctor recommended I see a pain specialist about a spinal cord simulator. They have done a second round of lumbar facets and my back pain is almost completely gone. Waiting on scheduling for my cervical to be done now. I wish someone had told me the alternatives to surgery a long time ago as I believe I am on course to hep now. I recommend Comprehensive, Pain and Rehabilitation Center for anyone needing help. I know nothing is full proof but it seems to finally be an answer for me. And by the way, Hursch's staff is the most rude I have also seen also.

I visited Dr. Hirsch today and was so disappointed. He treated me like I was incredibly stupid. I was embarrassed and wanted out of his office!! He questioned everything I said. I felt like I was in an interrogation. He honestly left me in tears!!

Doctor Hirsch only presented surgery as option for my problem. He did not discuss other options for treatment (there are some). That aside, I have no qualms about his abilities as a surgeon. I do question his choice of staff. Almost everyone I have dealt with has made me feel like I am bothering them. They have not been friendly or helpful. They have misplaced records, messed up appointments, and have been very unprofessional on more than one occasion. A bad staff can make a decent doctor look bad. I found another doctor to go to.

My 88 year old father went to Dr. Hirsch upon recommendation from another doctor for back pain. After waiting two hours we saw Dr. Hirsch and left his office with no help or solutions whatsoever. The rudest Dr. I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I came to Dr. Hursch for l4-l5 disk problem with instability. To me first impressions when meeting a Dr. are lasting. When I met him he had a smile on his face when he greeted me. I told him my problem and he asked a lot of questions about the issue. I had a bulge at this level disk which was the second one at that level. I had a surgery to remove the bulge. For me the disk was so bad it re herniated. We both decided together that a fusion was the best for my situation. His staff under his orders were very professional and got my approval from the ins. Co. I had the spinal fusion and it went perfect. I feel great at one month post op. Dr. Hursch showed excellent bed side manners. I not only consider him my spinal surgeon now. but also my friend and buddy. i would recomend him and his practice to any one i know if you need his type of services. thanks Doc. I went to Dr Hirsch for severe pain from a broken neck and he just wanted to see the images and ahow me them. I work in radiology and have consulted many physicians that I know personally and know I need low dose pain meds ti manage pain. Sadly, he is ignorant ti basic medicine and treatments for symptoms. He has no empathy and thinks medicine doesn't help when 100% of drs I have consulted in my decade in healthcare agree and know they do work for chronic injuries related to bony injury. He was rude and I could tell he thought I was some drug seeker which is sad since I work in emergency medicine and see now why thwy come since the physicians do not treat apparently. This guy doesn't deserve the title of physician as he doesn't get it and doesn't understand pain and what it does to workers who actually work for a living and not to charts all day and maybe a case or 2 a week. Pathetic dr n should be fired for general practices of ignorance to medicine. Dont go see him or you'll meet a… guy that juat wants a follow up juat to tell you what your bidy is doing. Most know if they have any sense, need care not education on anatomy. Money dr is all, big shift in healthcare and hes at the tip of issues that wirk down deep into our hospitals.

Dr Hirsch has excellent bedside manner. He was thorough in his explanations my medical condition and was very encouraging. I would highly recommend him.
