Dr James Hoffman

After 3 other knee surgeries I knew from my MRI and 3 other d rs that reviewed and read my scan I needed a meniscectomy and maybe more. The Dr said he didn't see any problems like the MRI reported and offered some injections which i declined and went elsewhere . Im post op a week and doing great pain is hone and so is the large tear in my meniscus and cartlidge . I called dr hoffman to share my thoughs and findings but he had the admjnistratpr call me not himself....hoping no-one is next with this level or worse of an error

I was misdiagnosed and suffered needlessly for months.

Exceptional experience with Dr Hoffman for my hip replacement. Uses the anterior process which is the only way to go. Everything happened just as it was explained to me. Recovery was fast and complete. One day in hospital, two weeks working from home, six weeks of physical therapy 3x per week. At the end my hip feels great and I feel like a new man! Would offer my strongest recommendation for Dr Hoffman and his hip replacement surgery! Bobby Sanford

I had a car accident that severely broke my right wrist and left thumb. I met Dr. Hoffman in the emergency room as he was the on-call surgeon. I had to have surgery to repair both my wrist and thumb. He was wonderful. He explained everything he was going to do and answered all my questions. I had surgery a week later and everything went perfect. I am completely healed now. I do have some nerve damage and not complete range of motion on my wrist, but I was prepared for that, as it was a bad break. All and all I would highly recommend Dr. Hoffman.

Doctor Hoffman replaced my right knee, had complications within two weeks. The knee would not and still does not move out or back near the specified degrees. I went to ALL the required therapy by his practice. They then tried what they call a manipulation in the operating room eight weeks after surgery, did not work. The EXACT words he used were, well, I feel certain I did nothing wrong in the knee replacement, but I guess you fall under my seven percent of medical failures. I then asked what was next and was told I needed a knee revision, which means I need to have the total knee replaced again, when I said okay, let's get it done, he says, well I can not do it, I'm not licensed to do revisions. ??? How the heck does that work? I limping around, driving is a real chore, because of the limited movement of my right knee, sports with my grandson are limited, {which by the way, Doctor Hoffman said I would be in the gym doing leg presses} and now I'm suppose to pay all the new copays… and charges to a new Doctor for a procedure that has not been correct since the beginning.

It was a tough surgery but the results were the best-as was Dr. Hoffman.

He has poor beside manners, no eye contact ...No follow up. Over all good surgen
