Dr. James Albert Hurt, MD

This Doctor needs to really be reconsidered as his professionalism is sarcastic and rude. Not compassionate nor will help when needed. I would NEVER recommend this person to anyone in need of surgery! PLEASE think twice! If you have no insurance, don't expect to be taken seriously or be given the proper attention needed! If he does not like your comments or questions, he walks out! No other appointments or follow ups as he is finished with you! Rude!

Dr. Hurt performed knee surgery to repair my torn meniscus in my left knee. The surgery was not a miracle cure, since I have arthritis in my knee as well...no cure for that. The surgery went well. I was walking the second day after surgery (without crutches) and was back at work in about a week (still taking it easy). Dr. Hurt is easy to talk to, doesn't have a big ego that you sometimes have to deal with, and he fully explains everything so you can make an informed decision. I highly recommend both him and his staff.

I would highly recommend my experience with the staff and Dr Hurt has been great. We have a lot to go through yet.but I feel that I'm in the best of care and have strong faith and they have been blessed with the knowledge to see me through a full recovery.
