Dr. Irwin first diagnosed my daughter with Crohn's disease in 2008. My daughter recently started having flare ups again this year about a year and a half after she was diagnosed and I started taking her back to Conroe Hospital after taking her to 3 other hospitals and other doctors who just basically said she was there for the pain medicine. She was admitted a total of 4 times the second time he was consulted and came in. What absolutely blew my mind is that he remembered her from 2008. That showed me right there that he takes an interest in his patients and they are not just faces that pass over the operating table. He showed us that he truly cared how she was feeling and how she was doing. After the 4th admission he was consulted again and decided she needed a Laparoscopic exploration. He was in for about 10 seconds and immediately opened her up and did a bowel resection on her then worked on fixing her scar from her first bowel resection done by another surgeon. Of all the doctors… and surgeons we have dealt with the last 2 years he is beyond the best in his caring and attitude and expertise. I highly recommend his services
