Dr. James David Jansen, MD

I saw Dr. Jensen for a persistent, chronic painful knot on the back of my head which he said was inflamed skull bone. He said there was nothing he could do and there was nothing he could recommend. When I expressed my disappointment he said, in an extremely sarcastic tone “Well I can’t remove part of your skull, your brains would fall out!” I have since been told by my doctor and a neurosurgeon that there is no such thing as “inflamed skull bone” as an independent condition. I would definitely not recommend him. I have suffered with this for years believing nothing could be done, but trying to get to the bottom of it now.

Dr. Jansen was rude, accusatory and very unpleasant. He walked in, didn't say hello...told me my condition couldn't be painful and if it wasn't ulcerating I was wasting his time. He said, "Get on the table." I did and he abruptly, without warning flung my ankle length skirt up over my face! Long story short, he failed to find a TUMOR on my leg that he said was because I was too fat. (Not even close!) I ended the consult when he said that. He then said, "I didn't say I wouldn't do the surgery." On what?! You just said you didn't see anything wrong. I left never to return to that place. My next surgeon consult found a tumor greater than 10 cm...it pressed on nerves and invaded muscle. He removed it beautifully.
