Dr Kendrick is an amazing surgeon that truly cares about his patients. His knowledge is amazing and does outstanding work. He’s been my orthopedic specialist for over 20 years. His staff is also amazing.

Had both knee replacement

Worst staff ever.....rude, inconsiderate and incompetent

Professional, prompt and caring. I knew I was going to need surgery however he wanted to wait a week rather than jumping right to the irreversible volar wrist plate. (Ok so it can be removed but normally isn't necessary). When I came back one week later it was obvious the bone had moved and I needed the plate. He worked me in the next day and the rest is history. I should be playing polo again in the Spring. Thank you Dr. Kendrick! I can't wait to get back on a horse!

I was still experiencing major problems with my knee after undergoing two arthroscopies with another surgeon,and had been on crutches for over a year. Although I was resistant to going up to Memorial Northwest because I live in Sugarland and didn't want to drive that far, I finally listened to a friend's advice (she has had 2 hip replacements with him) and went to Dr. Kendrick for a 2nd opinion. I was immediately impressed by his genuine concern and caring bedside manner. After looking at my X-rays, he said that he had actually done REPLACEMENTS on knees that were in better shape than mine. We tried an injection of synvisc(it sounds so horrible to get a Knee injection, but he makes it a PIECE OF CAKE (and I have had my wrist and foot injected so I DO know the difference! Don't be nervous). That didn't fix the problem so I scheduled the total knee replacement with terror in my heart. Everyone told me that is was sooo painful. Without Doubt it was one of the BEST decisions I have EVER… made. Because he genuinely does not want his patients to be miserable and in pain, he has a nerve block put in which leaves the leg numb for a couple of days and in addition orders a painkilling cocktail to keep you comfortable. I did great for a 63y/o lady or even a younger person from what I hear. I was even up washing clothes the day after I came home(about the 5th day post op). No it wasn't a walk in the park but now I CAN walk in the park unaided. I absolutely cannot begin to recommend Dr. Kendrick, Courtney (his trusty assistant), Caesar (the x-ray tech), and his other office staff highly enough. And as far as aftercare. My first orthopedist seemed uninterested, but Dr. Kendrick was extrememly attentive and took all the time I needed to answer my questions and concerns and his smiling and friendly demeanor always put me completely at ease. I wouldn't go to anyone else in his field!

The BEST bedside manner of any doctor I've ever encountered. Dr. Kendrick is well respected by all members of the hospital in which I was treated. He performed two total knee replacements for me within a 4 month scope of time. Not only was he attentive to my concerns, he made the experience as painless as possible. He took the time to answer all questions about the procedure and both surgeries went smoothly. I highly recommend this orthopaedic surgeon to anyone contemplating total knee replacement.

Excellent doctor, gentle man, knowledgable, very good surgeon. Does surgery only as needed. Cares very much about the needs of his patients.
