He did a breast reduction and after bandages were taken off, it looked like my daughter was mauled by a dog!!!!!!!!!

Dr Motlagh not only is a great surgeon he is a wealth of knowledge and makes his patients feel at ease. He explains everything that he is going to do step by step and answered all your questions. Great doctor I would refer all my friends to him !!!

Dr. Motlagh was very professional and realistic regarding my results! Excellent skills!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I came in for advice and help with improving some pitted acne scars which is a sensitive issue for me, and I felt like my privacy was breached when he brought someone who appeared to be "shadowing" without my permission. I then asked him what procedures he would suggest to help my scaring. It was understandable that I wasn't qualified for many of them due to skin tone, so I asked him if he would consider "subcision" otherwise known as subcutaneous incisional surgery. As a plastic surgeon, he DID NOT even know what subcision was even though it is a procedure many doctors know of and use in treating depressed scars. He asked me "Did you just find that on the internet?" which I found insulting. I can't help that he isn't knowledgeable about certain procedures even though he has been in practice for 15 years. The way he went on to explain the likelihood of improvement for my scarring using Juvederm was concerning to me. He kept saying "I don't know, I… don't know" regarding the outcome as if he wasn't confident in his ability to do it well. Same with excision - he was convinced that he would leave larger scars on my face even though there are plenty of skilled doctors who perform the procedure in a way that replaces scars with less noticeable ones. I wanted to see Dr. Motlagh again, but his demeanor wasn't very reassuring. He did not have much help to offer resulting in a very short consultation that was not worth the money.

Dr. Motlagh was very precise and confident in his work. He explained the process from start to finish. I am very pleased with the job he did on me.

I went to Dr. Motlagh for liposuction. I was very concerned whether to do it or not because I have a condition that causes scars. He told me it would not be a problem. Boy was he wrong! My recovery was terrible! Bad pain. For a week I could not get into or out of bed without help. He had said I could go back to work in a couple of days. I could hardly move. My husband had to pick me up & stand me up. When I went back in the Dr. didn't seem particularly concerned and offered no explanation. I had extensive scaring under the skin which resulted in my whole abdomen being rigid. I could hardly bend in any direction for months. It took 18 months for the scars to soften. This was a highly traumatic experience & he didn't seem to care. I would never go to him again. He didn't even do a very good job on the lipo ( my stomach is lumpy) but I wasn't going to let him touch me again ever!

I had cosmatic surgery with Dr. James Motlagh ,MD about 10 years ago . He was the best Dr. among all the other Drs I n other fields I ever had . It was easy to get appointment . He was punctual , he did not rushed throu the consultation , he was open minded , he welcomed ideas , he was very humble and patience . I always recomanded him to my friends and all were happy with his performances . Now I need more surgery and without hasatation I went to him . If the rating was up to 10 ,I will give him 15. That good he is . Tyler plastic surgery Association should be proud to have such a good ,humbel ,gentel Dr.in his team .

I had two times surgery with this doctor and I am very happy with his performance . I already recommended him to few friends who needed surgery . I like him being so humble and very passionate about the work he is doing .He is honest and he is cooperates with his patients . and If I need any more surgery I will go back to him over and over.He deserves the highiest rating
