Friendly, good listener, thorough.

Dr. Nagel was my physician when I lived in Chico 17 years ago. He was topnotch and I'm glad to see he is still practicing. A smart, kind, competent person.

Dr. Nagle has really helped me get my hormones balanced and my thyroid working well. His staff is very good and professional. His NP Diana is fantastic. She is always there for me when I call with a concern.

Knowledgeable, accurate, thoughtful, and he CARES about his patients. The staff is so gracious - I feel really good going there. I'm a new patient.

I had to wait a bit but it was well worth it! I querried 5 or 6 other patients in the waiting room about the typical wait time & was told to "bring a book." However, they said once it was your turn they (Dr. Nagel or NP) never kicked you out after the insurance alloted time of only 10-15 minutes & all agreed they'd never once felt rushed. I was very impressed & am looking forward to working with Dr. Nagel.

This doctor does not-so-typical lab tests, true. Expect the possibility of fighting with your insurance to get some of them covered. Even if they don't, it's still worth it. At least to me. Do you want to find out whats wrong with you? Why you're so tired or why you can't tone up even though you work out frequently? And for heaven's sake, why you're an adult with acne? This is the man, period. I am finally a functioning human being again. I can sleep, I've lost some weight and my skins cleared up. Thank you thank you thank you! Amazing.

One can get the same results for less than half the price at Apothecary Options: 3006 Esplanade Ste 1. The same paperwork is filled out and reviewed for free. Dr. Nagel is a lot of smoke and mirrors if you ask me. Is overall diagnoses was " You are lacking hormones" That is why I went to see him. He didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, yet it cost me around 500.00 No Thanks!

caring give me a break. they talk a good speech but have a real problem and you get pawned of on urent care or ...... but they are not going to help

Dr Nagel was the only physician I've ever been to that didn't pull out his prescription pad and write me prescriptions for every symptom I had. He was more interested in finding out what was really going on with me. He does extensive lab testing that no other physician bothered to take. My insurance didn't cover most of the treatment but they don't if it comes to getting better. Insurance companies want to keep you sick and on medication. It is more cost effective in the long-run to get well and off medications and anti-derepessants. If you follow the treatment Dr. Nagel recommends, you will get well. It's not a quick fix and you have to get off the standard American diet. Most people have a hard time being in active participant in their health. Most want a pill. Dr. Nagel's office is not the place to go if you want to walk out with a handful of prescriptions.
