Excellent provide and service

Will be looking for a new surgeon. I will start off by saying this is a very frustrating practice. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment; took me two weeks to finally get into see Dr. Reid. I was very disappointed in his bedside manner, he does not listen and constantly interrupts. He wants to tell you stories about himself rather than listen to you. I would recommend searching for a different surgeon. He can also be incredibly sarcastic and can make you feel demeaned.

The doctor himself was ok, although he missed my broken hand on my first appointment. The scheduling, however, was a nightmare. On my second visit, they scheduled me for the Superior location, and even confirmed it with me. When I got there, they informed me that he was at Westminster that day. So I had to drive 45 minutes further and miss 2 more hours of work because of it. Then when I arrived in Westminster, the lady behind me had the same problem. They also called just a couple hours before my next appointment to cancel on me. Sorry, but my life doesn't revolve around the doctor's schedule!

Excellent surgeon

Kept me waiting and then rushed me through my appts, mostly telling me bizarre stories about himself. Very narcissistic. Rude and had no bedside manner. Never acknowledged me even the day of my surgery.I finally changed docs after I was not healing properly and found someone who took the time to listen and take an X-ray ( Dr. Reid did not) and found the post surgical answer to why my hand was not healing.

Dr. Reid said some pretty disrespectful things during the appointment that would be shocking to any polite person. He told me to use my brain and not act like a worm when I asked about how I should treat my injury. He also questioned me about whether or not I'd gotten drunk and insinuated that I was just out to get narcotics, which is so far from the truth as to be laughable if it didn't make me want to cry. A visit with a good PT yielded much more detailed assessment of issue and actual solutions, such as using kinesio tape and stretching, to help the injury to heal and relieve pain immensely without drugs. I don't expect doctors to be PTs, but I do expect them to be respectful.

Dr.Reid operated on my radius fracture that had turned into a complicated malunion. He gave me the use of my arm back....so yeah, I think he is a ROCKSTAR! I would recommend him to any of my friends that needed a hand/ arm surgeon.

I have been a patient of Dr Reid for over 10 years. He is an exceptionally gifted and talented doctor. I was referred to him by a lifelong friend who also has had exceptional service from Dr Reid. My daughter went to Dr Reid after three years of incorrectly diagnosed shoulder problems from other doctors. Dr Reid accurately identified the problem and corrected it and my daughter has been pain free since. He is well informed and has always taken time to educate me so that I can maintain the correct approach to managing my shoulder which was improperly treated for an acute AC by other doctors many years ago. His approach has always been incremental and always been based on appropriate progressive action. He has kept me out of the operating room with a prescribed course of action that should keep me out of the operating room for years to come. I highly recommend him if you have any shoulder problems.
