Not what you want to see when your child vision and life is in someone's hands.

If I could give "0" stars, I would. This was the worst experience that I've ever had with a physician and was horrified that my daughter was subjected to such demeaning treatment. My sweet 15-year-old, who never complains about anything, had experienced an obviously swollen/droopy eye for nearly two weeks that was not responding to her pediatrician's repeated attempts to treat. The ophthalmologists that the pediatrician's practice recommended did not have appointments available for over a month so I looked elsewhere and found Dr. Reynolds' place of employment, which had an appointment available almost immediately (now I know why). Dr. Reynolds was extremely rude and basically shamed her for coming to him for such a "minimal" issue. She sat quietly while he countered everything she had said to him and arrogantly tried to convince her that her condition had gotten better over the past few weeks. He pontificated about how he was used to seeing "serious cases" where "patients eyes… were red and swollen shut" and that her issue was all the way "on the other end of the continuum." He also scolded her for taking too much of her medication even though she was taking as it as prescribed by her pediatrician. My advice- wait to get an appointment with another ophthalmologist.
