Dr. James A Rush

2 months ago my left eye suddenly started becoming blurry.within a period of 3 days I decided to visit a dr. I had seen a couple of years prior for a routine eye exam. I was told my eye was bleeding behind and was sent to a retina specialist that same day. That specialist said I would go blind in both eyes after a battery of tests but he was going to refer me to Dr. James Rush.. I got to see Dr. Rush the very next day. He put me at ease immediately. His manor with his patients is real. He informed me if I was going blind it would have already happened. Turns out I had a stroke in my eye and the optic nerve was pinched. Not letting enough blood to it. I saw him a total of 3 times and each time was totally happy with each visit. I would sing this mans praises anytime to anyone. My husband was also totally happy with him. He is truely a great Dr.. with a sense of humor about him.

HES THE WORSE DOCTOR EVER. Not only was he unprofessional by the way he dressed but by they way he talked, he would curse and make me wait for hours.He would continually storm out of the room to go attend another patient. I DONT KNOW WHY HE CALLS HIMSELF A NEUROPTHAMOLOGIST.. becauses hes barely a opthamologist. ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE DOCTOR.

Dr. Rush removed a large tumor behind my left eye when I was only 17 years old. The incision was from temple to temple and I was terrified after finding out what he was going to have to do to safely remove the tumor and save my eyesight. Dr. Rush was remarkable at calming my mother and myself and answering EVERY single one of our many questions, he was extremely patient, and very reassuring, he had a remarkable bedside manner.Although this was NOT plastic surgery but instead saving my eyesight, Dr. Rush did not only remove the tumor without incident but took the time to make sure his work in putting my face back together would NEVER be noticed. I have had doctors argue that this surgery never took place because they do not believe such a major surgery could be performed without leaving a noticaeable sign. Finally, after discovering the hairline scar they apolgize and tell me it healed wonderfully; but I know the healing process alone could NOT make the scar so unnoticable, but… instead the combination of Dr. Rush's outstanding artwork; taking his time sewing me up even after hours of tedious work. If I could afford plastic surgery Dr. Rush is absolutely the doctor I would consult.
