Dr James Udell

I’ve been come here for 5 years , Dr. Udell is always polite, listens . Compassionate . Infusion nurses are fantastic, knowledgeable.

I will never go back to Dr Udell. My experience proved to be horrible. My first appointment was changed 4 times. Get there and he calls from another room to ask me 95% of the questions I completed on the 5-7 page medical history they sent prior to my visit while typing my answers in to the computer??? Are you kidding? When he came back in to the exam room, he came across as uncaring, dismissive and as if he was just going through the motions. He sends me for tests for which I have a telemed appointment set up about 1 month after the first appointment. I call 15 min prior given they never said who would call who. Was told he is running behind and will call. I call an hour later as no call from him. Told again, he is behind and will get "caught up" and to give him an hour and he will call. 3 hours total after my SCHEDULED appointment and no call. I call for a 3rd time and the office is closed. Unprofessional, unacceptable and how clear it is that he has no respect for a patient, their… time, their need for the results of their tests or that they may be concerned/worried about the results. I have a new Dr to go as I will not see a Dr with such litte regard and his actions lead to no other opinion or conclusion.

By far the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. I was referred by my primary doctor (he did not know Udell, but he does now). This guy has zero bedside manner. He basically told my wife to shut up when she was helping with my medical history and then continued to taunt her during the visit. He left the door open during my visit, and in the middle of reviewing my history, got up, left the room and started giving someone on the phone travel advice for 15 minutes. He was dismissive, inappropriate, and disrespectful. He ridiculed my primary doctor and gave no diagnosis. Wanted me to get more lab work that I already had and come back in a month. Waste of time. After my visit, we went online and saw these reviews. Totally accurate. Wish I would have looked prior, I’d have 3hrs of my life back!

Terrible, uncaring doctor. Everything about his character says "I don't care about you." He gives you less than 2 minutes, leaving no time for you to explain your problem, ask questions, request X-Rays, or discuss treatment options. He quickly leaves the room, without warning, to get to the next patient.

I have left the practice of dr Udell due to some personal issues but want to say tha nurses in the infusion area all deserve not 5 but 10 stars They are efficient compassionate and have made all of my infusion appointments so easy I have been receiving my infusions every 6 weeks for over 10 years and now that I won’t be going to this dr anymore I will certainly miss Chris Terry and Brit. Thank you girls for keeping me sane during my infusions.

Prior to injection in my lower spine, I was told to "drop your pants and bend over the table." Uncouth. No pain relief from treatment.

Was being treated for Lupus, but rarely ordered the necessary lab work. Was more interested in giving me cortisone injections. Was always typing when I was talking. Would only give refills for 90 days which forced me to see him every three months. I eventually changed doctors and was surprised to learn that I not only did I have Lupus, but also RA and PMR(Polymyalgia Rheumatica). DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

Would give no stars if I could. I honestly cant write what I think of this Dr. and he should not be called that at all. Waited over an hour in the exam room. and they the doors are left open. what about HIPPA laws. Didnt seem to want to help or be bothered with me, said what his associate prescribed was all wrong. ?????

Met for the first time and was scripted tests. Once tests were done I tried to schedule a follow up and my calls were never returned. I still haven't received a phone call to get the results of my tests that were completed over 2 weeks ago. Would not recommend to anyone that wants good care.

Please do not go to this doctor, he is awful. Doesn't listen, demoralized me, treated me as if I was a child and accused me of being bipolar because I told him he wasn't helping me. If you have fibro do not go to him, I would love to smack him in the face, he is an idiot!
