Had similar experience of the other reviewers that I wish Dr Watt was more forth right with me about all the pro's and cons about having my hand surgery. As if surgery was the only option and wasn't warned about the negative side effects. I highly recommend getting a second opinion. If I had done so I would not have had the surgery leaving me with less functionality in my hand. When I scheduled a follow up visit to voice my concerns and understand my options he didn't seem bothered and moved me out quickly.

Dr Watt genuinely has your wellbeing as his primary focus. Without a doubt he is always happy to explain the details of your surgery and what to expect afterwards. He treats you like a real person and will discuss your concerns without hesitation. I cannot think of another doctor that I’ve had in 30 years that would rate this high. He’s a superb surgeon. I highly recommend Dr Watt.

Dr Watt performed surgery on my hand, but I feel that he was not upfront with me about how little good it would do to have the surgery, and that some of the results of this particular surgery would perhaps leave me in a worse condition than before. (Upon visiting another hand surgeon a few months later, I was told that the surgery never should have been done in the fist place due to the risks of what could happen). On my last visit in particular, I feel that he attempted to use flattery and small talk to distract me from voicing my dissatisfaction with my results. I now have less motion and less use of my hand now, than before surgery. I am not satisfied.
