Dr. James Elijah Wheless, MD

He is a wonderful, patient, and kind doctor. I've seen him for many years.

several bad items. 1. Someone was supposed to call on blood work results for diabetes. No one called, so when I called back, nurse stated that another nurse logged that they called and talked to me. They didn't. When I asked for results, they said I was fine. When I went to doctor a couple months later, Wheless informed me I was a diabetic. When I mentioned the above, I could tell he turned off and then just treated me as cattle. Then set me up for sleep study, and when I called back to ask for info that they were supposed to send, they didn't have a record of setting this up. So someone lied they talked to me; and then gave BAD info. Incompetent.

I've been a patient since Dr; Wheless started his practice here.He is the BEST,wouldn't think about seeing another doctor.

One of the best doctor at CMC Northeaste he is a great doctor and good person. He doesn't rush you visit he will listen and not rush you. He spend enough time with you and always willing to answer questions and concerns.

Dr. Wheless has been my Physician for 19 years and was the Dr. who recoginized that I had suffered a stroke as he saw me in the ER. The ER Dr. totally missed the diagnosis and Dr. Wheless took over and immediately ordered the appropriate test, including an MRI and called in the neurologist. He has correctly diagnosed many illnesses over the years and his bedside manner is second to none.
