Dr. Jamie F Altman, MD

I've been going to Dr. Altman for 2 years now. Very nice. However, this past visit was my yearly exam, which he finished in maybe 2 seconds. Not sure how you can examine my entire body that quickly. And told me to ask my hairstylist to check my hair?? No discussions afterwards. He seemed in a big hurry. Not sure I will continue seeing him after that.

Went there today... not a good listener, rushing to get it done, didn’t take care of all issues, said take care of this first, have to pay $40 co pay to go back for my next issue

Dr Altman is friendly, and nice. He is very knowledgeable. You do not wait for a long period of time to see him in his office. Staff very pleasant. I would recommend very highly.

I have been seeing Jamie for about ten years and he is always focused and provides treatments that work. I have complete confidence in his abilities or I would not continue to see him. I like his new office. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I have been going to Dr. Altman for years. Initially, my daughter was treated for warts on her foot and hand. She was only 7 or 8 and he was so gentle and kind with her. Later she developed acne. Her acne was stubborn but he never stopped until we found what worked. Now her face is clear. He very easy to talk to and informative. I highly recommend him. The staff is polite and accommodating.

My experience with Dr. Altman couldn't have been better. I called for the appointment, and the receptionist was pleasant, and accommodating, and when I arrived for my appointment, it was the same. All staff members are cheerful and helpful. Dr. Altman listened to me, and gave me a thorough exam and explanation of my condition. My primary physician recommended Dr. Altman very highly, and I couldn't have been happier with the care I received.

don't let dr Altman freeze something more than once , it needs to be tested if it comes back again . just because it does not look like skin cancer on the surface , have it tested

Dr. Altman and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful !! No one really likes to go to the dermatologist, just like the dentist :-) (I work for one!!) But Dr Altman made my personal experience a better one because of his upbeat personality and being a fabulous physician. I have recommended him to everybody !Unfortunately I've been a frequent patient over the past few years due to over exposure to the sun when I was growing up so I've had to go to the office every few months for treatment and check ups. My overall experience in the office always been positive one even if the treatments weren't ! So if you're looking for an awesome, down to earth and professional dermatologist, you should make an appointment to see Dr. Altman!!

Dr. Altman's professionalism and expertise in dermatology are first-rate, but his empathy for the patients who need his services is very welcomed and most comforting. He also works well with his patients to fit their needs including scheduling, pharmaceutical, financial, geriatric issues, and physical limitations. I would highly recommend Dr. Altman without hesitation or qualification to anyone considering dermatological care.

I have been seeing Dr. Altman for quite a few years now for various skin problems, including some minor skin cancers. He has always been very thorough and very professional while having a wonderful bedside. His staff is very warm and cheerful. I would recommend his office to anyone.
