Dr. Chen and group are very professional, friendly and thorough. They have made every effort to offer me appropriate treatment options and choices. I highly recommend them.

Your rating system should be reworked. Too much emphasis on staff performance. The quality of medical diagnosis and treatment is primary which in my mind should be 4-5 stars. Likewise efficiency of service should receive 4-5 stars. If someone is a little crabby, who cares. Just so the above criteria is met.

The doctor was very professional and explained everything as she was going along. I am pleased with her. I might mention that I am quite obese. When I was leaving the office, her nurse and receptionist were standing outside the door and they both looked at me and started laughing. I will not go back to this office. The doctor needs a new staff.

I called to make an appointment, but they don't accept Tricare insurance. Soldiers and their families all have Tricare. Enjoy your freedom, while we look elsewhere for a dermatologist.

I just called for an appointment and they are NOT accepting new patients, contrary to what this site says. Why is it so difficult to find a decent female dermatologist in McHenry County that ISN'T associated with Derick!?

I have been seeing Dr. Chin for many years and have been quite pleased with her and her professionalism. However, her office staff could use some help in the area of courtesy and compassion. I found myself having to reschedule my yearly body check this year (due to an urgent personal matter) and the office receptionist could not have been more unhelpful about it. I should mention that I have a history of Melanoma and this check is quite important to my health. She made it seem an inconvenience for her and gave me several dates for a year from now! This is unacceptable for a longtime patient with a complex history of skin cancer. Dr. Chin, you really need to have a talk with your staff. In the meantime I will be looking for another dermatologist.
