Dr. Jamie Lauren Funamura, MD

Dr. Jamie Funamura specializes in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, with 16 years of experience treating conditions affecting the ear, nose, and throat. She completed her medical education at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and went on to complete her residency at UC Davis Medical Center. Her training has prepared her to address a wide range of ENT concerns in both adults and children.

Dr. Funamura practices at multiple locations throughout Sacramento, including the University of California Davis Medical Group Otolaryngology Clinic and UC Davis Children's Hospital. She treats patients with sleep apnea and hearing loss, with particular expertise in pediatric sleep apnea cases. Her surgical skills include middle ear surgery, tympanostomy procedures for ear tube placement, and adenoidectomy to remove enlarged adenoids that can interfere with breathing and sleep.
