Dr. Polito was an excellent doctor for me in that she was patient, never rushed, took the time to listen, thorough, caring, and never pushy. I will miss her; I am disappointed that she will no longer be a member of the UCLA Torrance group.

I got a weird vibe from Dr Pulido. At the time I was 49 years old, I went for my yearly physical and she refused to do a pap smear. At the same time I was getting evaluated for procedure at a hospital and they wanted me to get full check up. I had to go back to her and ask her do the pap because my other doctor requested it and she finally did it. She was dismissive and not friendly. I don't want to read to much into it but I am Latina and I wonder if that had something to do with it.

Dr Polito is very knowledgeable of medicine including rare diseases ( ECD, Lung Carcinoid tumor she is very meticulous and has an awesome bedside manner I would gladly recommend her to family and friends

Dr. Polito demonstrates true interest in improving and sustaining health in patients. I find her to be very dedicated, thorough, and competent, and she stands in a league of her own in these areas and more.

Saw Dr. Polito for annual exam and she badgered me on my sexual history and proceeded to send a STI workup without my consent all came back negative as I knew it would. I called her to ask about and instead of allowing me to ask questions she proceeded to tell me I was disrespecting her tome and that on top of that she didn't get paid for phone calls so I should make an appointment. I switch to another physician after but it continues to bother me.
