Dr. Jane Diana Curtis, MD

Everyone has bad days. The day I saw Dr. Curtis was a very bad day that I hope she doesn't repeat with others. she seemed befuddled, bewildered and not fully present. I had to pinch myself to realize this daze was happening. I may have to return to her, otherwise I would give the specifics. What do I see? A doctor that dislikes her HMO setting, who is not used to modern computer exchange of records and perhaps she was once in private practice and has not yet adjusted to the rat robot world of corporate medicine - that's why she is so spacey. Still that is her challenge and not mine.

Dr. Curtis is always very attentive and shows genuine concern. I always appreciate her insight, advice, and time she dedicates to me. I've been seeing her for years and recommend her to everyone who asks me for a physician referral. She's great!

Dislike the abrupt manner by Dr Curtis. She looks at her watch when she walks in the room and keeps looking at it bc she has to move on to the next patient. I never get my questions answered. Her referrals to other specialists not good. She talks about herself a lot and never seems to care why u r there. For example she told me to stop taking a medication so I said ok but never suggested I try something else left the room and never returned to answer any of my questions. Since dr Curtis has joined this group her skill as a caring physician are below average. I was very disappointed in her care for me and lack of time and seemed like an inability or too tired to answer my questions as she kept yawning and looking at her watch. Poor poor poor follow up care as well.

Janes Curtis has been my primary care doc for nearly twenty years. She is thorough, if not relentless in her care. Her care does not end with your office visit, expect follow up phone calls. And she is kind. I would recommend her, and do, wholeheartedly.

Dr. Curtis is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She keeps up with advances in medicine so you always get the latest information. She spends as much time with you as needed and always makes you feel comfortable. If her waiting time is a bit high it is because she never rushes a patient and is extremely thorough. I would highly recommend her.

Two things1.You tend to wait a long time even though you go there on time.2.Might be quite expensive, since she sents out to external labs and deductibles of those labs piles up.other than that she is an excellent Doctor.
