Dr. Jane Olaksen Galasso, MD

I have been lucky enough to have had Dr. Galasso as my gynecologist for over 35 years! I may actually be one of her first patients! She is extremely professional, and well informed in her field. She amazes me every time I see her with her practical knowledge in her field (which she clearly still has a passion for!) Her bedside manner is second to none. I can't praise her enough. I am in the medical field as well. Dr. Galasso is a rare find!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Galasso, she is extremely calm and professionally and always puts me at ease. I could not recommend her more highly.

Dr galasso was awful. I had an abnormal Pap smear so I was sent to her for a biopsy. I don't know what she did but she must have taken at least five tissue samples. Clearly she did not get it right on the first time. After that I was bleeding heavily. The bleeding was so bad I was put on bed rest on my back with legs in the air for a week until the bleeding stopped. After that experience I began to have frequent pain and sensitivity on on the right said of my cervix where she removed several pieces of tissue. I suggested getting another doctor to look at the state of my cervix and the prognosis for healing. Galasso flipped out. I was young and naive at the time but I believe she mistakenly botched the tissue retrieval.

Melisha and other receptionist are rude and unhelpful. I will never come back. The office was dead quiet and the girls up front wouldn't even talk to me, too busy facebooking!!!

i saw Dr Galasso for many years until she stopped accepting insurance. She delivered my daughter as well. I still miss her bedside manner!

Finally the 3 year search for a GREAT gynecologist is over. Dr Galasso is amazing with her manners, follow up, time she takes to explain and listens and understands the issues . Just the perfect gynecologist

I have been going to Dr Galasso for 25 years. she is the best!

Have been going to Jane for 15+ years - and consider her my quarterback of doctors and the standard by which I judge all others. Highly recommend her without reservation.

The only thing I question is her attitude towards HRT. She seems a little cavalier about the cancer risk, but she defends her position, maybe she's right? Overall I like and respect her very much, she's honest and caring.

Horrible bedside manner, told me to shake it off and to stop acting like a child after recieving serious diagnois. Terrible experience to deal with.
