This doctor recommended i have my fibroids removed by abdominal incision. I found this to be ridiculous. I ended up seeing another doctor that ended up removing my fibroids laproscopically through the Da Vinci robotic method which is very mainstream. I do not know why she didnt advise this as it was very minimal recovery time and a good option.

Dr. McMillan is very popular, so it is difficult to get a first appointment unless referred as an emergency by general practitioner -- I needed a hysterectomy. I was examined within one week after another patient cancelled. I have had two follow-up exams after the surgery and scheduled on a yearly basis.

Very impersonal and condescending, easily put on the defensive to the point of being passive aggressive with her comments.

Dr. Mcmillan is a wonderful doctor. She shows personal concern with her patients and addresses their anxieties and questions with a friendly yet professional demeanor that puts people at ease. I highly recommend her as a physician.
