Dr. Jane Colleen Presti, MD

Dr. Presti has been my doctor for over 20 years. The kindest and calm doctor I’ve ever met. Any problems I have had, she has made me feel safe and taken care of.

Dr. Presti and her colleague both blew off my concerns about my child for over a year. They told me it was normal for my daughter not to say mama or point at two years old. They gave me multiple excuses and refused to referr me for an evaluation. I believed them but the nagging feeling never got away for me. I asked them to give me a referral for an evaluation and they were very rude to me. I went behind their back and got an evaluation without my referral I needed for insurance and it cost me a fortune only to find out that I should have gotten my daughter evaluated over a year before I actually did. Their ignorance and faulty behavior resulted in my daughter not getting the help she needed when she needed it. I found out later on from a specialized hospital that she and her colleague never give referrals. Old school mentality and ignorant.

I always felt rushed through the visits even when the office was empty. Don't expect a call back from the Dr unless your willing to call and request a return call more then twice. Not the care you'd expect from a pediatrician. The office and staff appear professional... But there's a serious lack of concern.

I agree with the posted comment about rudeness of the office personnel. This is the reason I will be switching doctors. Every time I need to make an appointment (doesn't happen very often) I cringe at the thought of having to deal with the staff there. With another baby on the way and increased visit needs in the future I prefer not to expose myself to such intensive negative experiences.

I do like Dr. Presti very much, but the office staff is so unfriendly that I am considering switching doctors.

This MD misdiagnosed my child and actually completely overlooked his symptoms. All the doctor cared for was for me to keep coming back so she could make money, after the 5th visit FOR THE SAME SYMPTOMS and of no treatment and no explanation or caring from the doctor, I switched doctors which was the best decision I have ever made because now my child is doing much better and actually is receiving treatment!
