Dr. Janelle Merski Love, MD

My sister had recommended Dr. Love to me. Dr. Love had been able to help her a great deal in terms of helping her know how to change her diet to accommodate her food allergies, after giving her a food panel to determine her individual allergies. I have been seeing Dr. Love for over three years now. She helped me resolve an acute bout of insomnia, which gave rise to deep anxiety and depression. I was seeing my Western medicine primary care doctor at the same time I began to see Dr. Love. (Both doctors helped me resolve my crisis, but Dr. Love ordered far more in-depth testing (in terms of blood, saliva [for hormones], and stool) than my primary doctor was willing to order. One of Dr. Love's areas of expertise is bio-identical hormone replacement. The hormones she prescribes are plant-based, and are made locally at a compounding pharmacy. (Compounded plant-based hormones are different than synthetic HRT [hormone replacement therapy]). I continue to take the supplements Dr.… Love recommended/prescribed, and periodically (as recommended) I retake saliva and blood tests. My acute insomnia, anxiety, and depression were resolved within five months, and they have not recurred. I once told Dr. Love that she was my Annie Sullivan, my miracle worker. I have recommended her to three middle-aged women friends of mine. Dr. Love's practice does accept some insurance companies, although not mine. I do pay out of pocket for in-person/phone consults with Dr. Love and for the lab tests, but she is worth every penny I pay.

I went to Dr. Love a couple of years ago and I recently saw her on a list of recommended doctors for Lyme Disease and co-infections. When I saw her we did many many tests and really got down to the nutrition and getting rid yeast. She did an excellent job at finding those issues and addressing them. I had been sick for about 8 years when I went to see her, so my case was complicated. I'm not sure if she even looked for Lyme Disease or not! I have now been diagnosed with Lyme Disease and the co-infections Mycoplasma and Babesia ducani. The Lyme Disease tests are poor but if you're claiming to be a Lyme literate doctor then you should know that the tests are bad and know what to look for. I'm one of those patients who tests negative on the ELISA and Western Blot but positive on Igenix tests; which are more sensitive tests. Perhaps it was just my case but she seemed very inexperienced in terms of Lyme Disease and co-infections and I would not recommend her for treatment. Also, she… prescribed me IV Glutathione, multiple times, when I had mercury toxicity. Giving someone glutathione, antioxidant, while they have mercury toxicity causes redistribution symptoms. I don't think she even tested me for heavy metals before prescribing me that treatment. The IV glutathione made me very very sick. I had to stop working and going to school. I wasted thousands of dollars with her for three months trying to figure things out but she left me far worse off than I was when I started seeing her and she did not follow up for another appointment or anything. Perhaps I was her first Lyme patient and that's why she missed it. If you're looking to go to her for Lyme Disease and co-infections treatment please talk to her first to make sure she actually knows what she's doing before wasting time and money with her.

Dr. Love has been my lifesaver! I am no longer in chronic pain and my constant hives are gone after completing her program! If only all doctors would do what she does! FYI: If anyone has seen Dr. Love they will notice she has diplomas on her walls from her medical school, residency, masters degree, and graduate programs so I am not sure what that other person is talking about!

My experience has been nothing but positive. I wish more doctors followed a wellness ethos and get to the root of illness, like Dr. Love does, instead of just treating the symptoms. I can't imagine my health care in anyone else's hands. <3

I had many vague symptoms that no other doctor took the time to explore. Dr. Love took the time to truly understand what was wrong with me and came up with a treatment regimen that addressed my specific issues.

My fault, I read her bio prior to my visit and things did not add up. Stated she attended "Florida hospital in orlando" for her internship, but never stated she completed her training. Then her bio went on to say she attended "fairfax family practice" for her residency training, but again no statement of completion. Additionally, hospital based training is standard for any residency program, not office based. Anyway, things didnt add up! clearly this is nothing more than a revenue scam to purchase worthless supplements. Her lack of knowledge, is reflected by her lack of training. Please dont waste your time as I did. Do your homework!!

Dr. Love is a great doctor who is knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Love to anyone concerned about preserving their health or addressing any health issue(s).

I've been seeing Dr. Love for several years and she is always attentive to my concerns. Her diagnosis skills are excellent and she stays current with her research in the field and shares what she learns with her patients.

Dr Love is an excellent physician. When I met Dr Love, I had not been out of the house for 7 months. Dr Love listened to me. researched my condition, tested me and immediately started treatments that worked. She has continued to assign treatments that have given me back my life. Dr Love listens, provides explanations and is willing to help anyway she can. She has changed my life...for the better gratefully.
