If I could give no starts I would.... We went to see Dr. Hart as she is supposedly a "pediatric sleep specialist" and to say that is incorrect is a gross understatement. My son was in a major car accident back in September and since then he has a very interupted sleep patten (he is waking up between 11 and 16 times a nigth). Dr. Hart barely took any concerns seriously and had the audactiy to claim that it could be his ADHD or Allergies or you know maybe he has low iron.... Are you serious right now? My son has permanent brain damage from an accident to which I have records of and you want to claim its his ADHD or Iron?!!? She even asked me, "Well did he have ADHD before the accident?" ummm yes for like the passed 4 years!! You are literally looking at his chart!!! She never looked over any of the prior testing my son had! She was like well we could send him for a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea but I don't see any tonsils (removed when he was 2) nor do I see any adenoids (also… removed at 2 and 5) so I don't think it's that but we can test anyways and then you can get some blood work to check his iron levels. Um how about NO and I will find a better Doctor! Nemours should absolutely be ashamed to have this woman on staff and to claim shes a sleep specialist, what an absolute joke! I will take my son to a doctor who actually cares abotu his well being and not someone who just wants a pay day or to throw unnecessary meds at my kid! Do better!

Dr Lam is in the concussion clinic, but she does not seem to be up-to-date on current guidelines regarding head traumas. The visit with her was disappointing.

Dr. Lam does not have great bed side manner. She does not deliver quality care & is not easily accessible. I do not feel Dr. Lam is knowledgable in her practice. There is a lot to be desired & we are searching for a new neurologist.

In all fairness it was 6 yrs ago when this happened but I need to write a review on this doctor. My then 5 month old daughter was brought into the ER having seizures. We spent 9 days in that hospital trying to figure out what was wrong with her. On day 5 my husband opened up a neurology book and told Dr Lam our daughter had infantile spasms. She said no it was not that. 4 more days go by and she still disagrees with us. We voluntarily left that hospital on day 9 by ambulance to Childrens in DC. She was diagnosed 12 hrs later with infantile spasms. I hope that someday I will have a chance to tell her face to face how precious those 9 days were to my child and that 9 days were wasted as my daughters brain deteriorated and that she will suffer the consequences of Dr Lams decisions for the rest of her life. I am so thankful that we left that hospital and doctor.

Kennedy Krieger is difficult to get an appointment with, but I knew this going into the process as was willing to wait, but Dr. Lam left a lot to be desired. She has NO bedside manner and is very impatient with her patient, my almost 6 yo son, and myself. She gives the impression that she is too busy and leaves you feeling rushed. I concur with what the other reviewer said, but am waiting to pass judgement on the returning phone calls until the end of this week.

Dr. Lam is extremely porr with returning phone calls, I have now been waiting 5 days for her to call me back because I have questions regarding the diagnosis she gave my son, I'm very upset that she is this rude to her patients. She also isn't very friendly to the children, considering the fact that she is a pediatric neurologist.
