Do not let this colorectal institute even touch you. Drive as far as you have to to get proper care. This institute should be disbarred! Simple( so called) operation...no such thing...DAMAGED ME FOR LIFE...PUT ME ON PERMANENT DISABILITY....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I have had major rectal swelling problems and went to see Dr Gau frankly because of a youtube video of a fellow who had a positive experience there which seemed at the time to be similar to my own. Dr Gau could see that my behind was more than a little inflamed yet stopped the exam because she said I was moving too much. Then recommended I contact someone for medical marijuana.

I was told I was paying in full at time of visit which I did. Several weeks later I receive another bill. Isn't it convenient to have a business where you can just decide to send more bills for whatever you like and there is nothing to be done about it. Wouldn't it be great to have a business where you don't have to tell people how much anything costs but can just make it up after the fact. Its no wonder everyone wants to go to socialism and Medicare for all. Our dysfunctional health care system is the main cause.

I found Dr Gaw to be very insensitive to my problem and rude in her comments to me. On two separate occasions I asked her to specifically check a certain area that I was feeling pain and on both instances she advised me that there was nothing there. Fast forward two months with a visit to a very caring doctor there was indeed a problem discovered in the first 15 seconds of my exam...I am now being treated for something Dr Gaw could have and should have been treating me for months ago! Would never recommend Dr Gaw!

Dr. Gaw is the first Colorectal Surgeon who had the ability to perform a full Colonoscopy on me in my 61 years. Every other surgeon who has tried, has stated that my Colon was too long and twisted to perform a complete Colonoscopy. These were doctors in Chicago and at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Found Dr Gaw to have a poor interactive ability to take the time to listen to patients concerns and empathy for pain , failure to explain procedures her best saying is" see you in 6 weeks." Failure to correctly treat the first time and blame it on the patients for her poor treatment and follow up
