I will never see another OB, EVER! She is the best!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Donnelly's for over 10 years. I am looking for a new doctor now having just had a regular appointment with her recently. She never asked me if I'm having any menopause symptoms and seemed disinterested when I expressed concern over some symptoms that I'm experiencing. I need and want a doctor who wants to head off problems before they occur. She's been this way for quite a few years and I think she needs to hang it up.

I have been seeing Dr. Donnelly for six years and she is wonderful. She has delivered all three of my children. I feel that she has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She takes the time to address all my concerns and I have never felt rushed during my appointments. I have recommended her to many friends and family and everyone loves her and her staff.

I was recently a new patient with Dr Donnelly with some concerns that my last doctor seemed to ignore. I was 8 months pregnant at the time and she made me feel like my concerns were important. She is extremely competent and was there for me when I needed her.

I was seeing Dr. Donnelly for my prenatal care and her bedside manner was very uncaring and rushed. She dismissed my questions and concerns without really listening, and made me feel like I was wasting her time. I switched to another practice and couldn't be happier. I recently found out Dr. Donnelly had neglected to tell me about something she found on my ultrasound that will require an extra precautionary ultrasound. My new doctor informed me of this, and I was shocked that Dr. Donnelly didn't take the time to inform me of this finding. Even if it is minor, your doctor should tell you everything! I would not recommend her.

I went to Dr. Donnelly for an annual exam and concerns with what appeared to be hormonal issues. Dr. Donnelly did not test hormones and simply wrote me off as "too young" (age 43) and suggested that I see a psychiatrist because I was likely depressed. 4 months later I visited my GP with heart palpitations and described the same conditions. She tested my hormones and found them seriously out of balance with early onset perimenopause. Once on hormone replacement, I am feeling normal again.Dr. Donnolly also did a uterine biopsy for irregular menstruation. It was only on follow up a week later that she made me aware that she had popped a cyst while doing that biopsy. Thankfully all was normal, but that is information I would have preferred been shared at the time it happened.I found her to be very uncaring and unhelpful. I will never visit this doctor again nor would I recommend her to others. Her bedside manner is nowhere near my expectations and the lack of time spent in… determining my health concerns was deplorable.

Dr. Donnelly and her staff are wonderful. I have given birth to two singletons and twins with her and have had nothing but positive experiences. I prefer natural births and found her completely supportive of my wishes unless there was a medical necessity. (Not a medical convenience).

Dr Donnelly is wonderful. When I had o have surgery and had my pre-op appt she acted as if she had all the time in the world to answer my questions. She's very caring and very thorough.
