Dr. Janice Lynette Hull, MD

After repeated attempts to reach the office, I finally reached someone in the Inglewood Office. She was very unprofessional and put me on extremely long holds. After verifying that I was good to go on my imsurance, I asked her if I could book at the Santa Monica location. She booked me there. Something told me that there was going to be a problem. Sure enough the receptionist took 20 minutes to get me paperwork to fill out. Although that receptionist was very friendly, after I filled out the paperwork I was informed that my insurance was not taken at this location only the Inglewood one. And also the doctor said that I needed prior authorization, which is absolutely incorrect for this type of service that I have verified from my insurance multiple times. Despite the fact that I took off half a day of work unpaid so that I can come to the appointment, the location that booked me said I was fine to go, the doctor would not see me, and did not even come address me in a professional… manner. Instead she had the receptionist turn me away. Absolutely horrible customer service from the Inglewood Office to the doctor. The only nice person was the receptionist at the Santa Monica location. Very disappointed! It would have been nice if the doctor would have at least addressed me and apologized for her offices mistake and tried to remedy the situation. Now I am out money and no doctor's visit. A shame doctor's are able to treat patients this way.

Dr. Janice delivered both of our daughters and prayed and walked me through 2 miscarriages. She not only was my OBGYN but she became my friend. Janice saved our relationship when I thought I would never have children and hated myself for the loss of our children. I HIGHLY recommend her and I'm glad to know her! Her bedside manner is like none other.

I went to Dr. Hull when I first found out I was pregnant. I was not very familiar with her, but her father delivered my last son which is why I returned for this pregnancy. The office is staff is courteous enough. At my first appointment and subsequent ones I waited over ninety minutes. Dr. Hull was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I was wrong. After I turned 24 weeks, I received a call from her receptionist telling me that my AFP test came back positive for Down Syndrome. Not that it would have changed the diagnosis, but, for news like that, I would have expected a call from Dr. Hull herself. After the phone call from the receptionist, I never spoke with the doctor again. I tried to speak with her and she would never come to the phone. I ultimately change physicians. I went to her office to get my medical record and was told that they had misplaced it. I stood there in the office in disbelief. Dr. Hull came into the reception area and would not even acknowledge me. She is… thoughtless and careless. I hope that she reads this so that she will hopefully change her ways and be a better doctor for the next women who puts her trust in her.

EXCELLENT DOCTOR! VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND LISTENS TO HER PAITENTS. COMPASSIONATE AND CARING AS WELL. sHE IS THE EPITOMY OF WHAT AN OBGYN SHOULD BE. I EVEN PAYED OUT OF POCKET INSURANCE TO MAKE SURE SHE WAS THE DOCTOR WHO DELIVERED MY CHILDREN. KUDOS!

I went through a very hard time when i found out my pregnacy had to b terminated.dr j. hull was excellent at exsplaining everthing to me. but after the surgery was done there was no type of companion.she told her staff to turn me away without even allow me t let her know what i was there for. i needed a two week check up from the surgery she had jus performed. my stiches had bust open and she didnt even want to look at the woud she created.as a woman i thought she would have more heart knowing i jus lost my baby. but money over caring i guess. i wish i would have knew before i let her do the operation

i recently spent 9months going to dr.hull's office for my prenatal care. she is a excellent doctor and i love her very much. she took good care of me and helped me understand any and everything. she delivered my baby for me and i had a healthy baby boy. I would tell anybody to go to her doctor's office.
