Dr. Janice Christine Veenhuizen, MD

Dr. Veehuizen claims to specialize on Chronic Pain Patients. I was very happy to find her, although she was not taking new patients at the time. I waited months, checking back with her office frequently. Finally, the office said yes she was taking new patients, but first, I would have to answer some standard information and they would get back to me in two weeks. Two weeks past and I still had not received a call back, so I again called them. This time, I was told that Dr. Veehuizen "just didn't think I would be a good fit"! REALLY! Based on what? She certainly had never even spoken a word to me, so how does one come to that conclusion? The answer is, my Medicare Insurance just does not pay enough $$ to make her happy. However, she can't say that, because it's against the law. I hope everyone finds a doctor that is more concerned about their patients than they are about $$. Do yourself a favor and pass this doctor by!

This lady is THE BEST! I couldn't be happier with her as my psychiatrist. She is great with professional knowledge blended with lots of caring for her patients. If you are lucky enough to get her to work with you, you'll never go anywhere else. Dr. D
