Dr. Jasmin Calvin

Jasmin Calvin is a licensed Mental Health Counselor with five years of experience working in the mental health field. She is passionate about creating a space where her clients feel accepted, heard, valued, and understood. Jasmin has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and she is dedicated to helping others overcome challenges and improve their overall mental health. She specializes in anxiety, life transitions, trauma, postpartum, interpersonal communication and relationships, and depression. Jasmin completed her Masters of Science in Counseling and Counselor Education (M.S.Ed), as well as completed her Education Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling (Ed.S) at Indiana Univeristy Bloomington. She has professional experience working in the university setting with young adults, providing grief work with birth mothers through a local adoption agency, providing more intensive therapy services through a hospital outpatient clinic, and more. This clinical …experience allows Jasmin to adequately understand and address a variety of presenting concerns. Jasmin utilizes multiple therapy approaches, including: person-centered therapy, multicultural counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma focused therapy.
