Dr. Jason Tia Atienza, MD

I saw him for a workers comp injury and he obviously wasn’t in a good mood. Honestly, it seems like you can’t tell what mood he’s in, not compassionate at all-felt more like cattle call. Would not recommend him at all!!!!!!!

On my first visit i had to beg and cry for a MRI. When I see him I never know what mood I'm gonna get from him. He's a doctor that goes strictly with Comp. instead of his own opinion. He won't fight with Comp. for your needs. If it's no then it's no. It's sad because he seems like he could be a caring doctor. He has to answer to kaiser and comp. and i think thats what holds him back!

I have been a patient of Dr. Atienza for almost a year now. I hurt myself at work was sent to him. I went him with alot of pain. He just wanted to fill a script and send me on my way. I asked about an MRI he said they'll probably deny it. I started to cry because I knew there was something wrong. So he said ok I'll write extreme pain. Well I got the MRI and as I thought I have a bulging disc at L4-L5 and it's pressing on a nerve the shoots pain down my leg. To make along story short. I have nerve damage and another Dr recommended surgery . Still in a lot if pain Dr Atienza continues to make me work. I believe if he was a regular Kaiser Dr he would care but he sides with workmens comp. I would not recommend him as a Comp Dr.

This guy is awesome.
