Dr. Jason Chu, MD

Negligence in care, absolutely a horrible staff. My experience was devastating, I suffered from blatant discriminatory questions, hurtful, condescending behavior due to my physical and mental health issues. My health and disabilities were discussed in the waiting room with patients hearing private health information. I experienced retaliation for being upset and addressing my rights.

Dr. Chu still has not even felt my throat or looked in ears or any of the traditional doctor visit things. He referred me to others and actually does not seem to do much personally. I had to email asking about follow up blood tests I sent them from another doctor and no one got back to me in over a month. I had to contact them again to finally get some of my questions answered.

I have had enough, let me start by saying I love Dr. Traver, she is wonderful! the 1x I had an experience with Dr. Chu he was great! However the front staff and their policies are not ones I will continue to tolerate. I have had issues with the rudeness, unpolite, ignorance of the front staff but now I find out that they expect you to tolerate waiting to see the Dr. for over a half hour but if you show up 10mins past the appt time, which both my cell phone and my vehicle's clock indicated 10mins they turn you away!!!! There are plenty of great Dr.s in Colorado I do not need to keep taking this abuse from any medical practice.

Dr. Chu makes no effort to get to know his patients. Does not seem to remember anything about his patient. Makes referrals when asked, but does not even remember that he made the referral or the reason the patient asked for it. Every time I have seen him in the past, he does not remember anything about me. I would not recommend him. His very stiff manor is off-putting and does not encourage one to discuss health issues. Does not take time with patient. I always feel he is in a hurry to get the appointment over as soon as possible. I have had to go to a specialist if I want answers.

He charged me $254 to clean the wax out of my ears and another $275 to listen to my breathing. I went in with a persistent cough that was getting better.

15 minute routine physical office visit with constant billing even though it was free. Each time I call back it’s under review, but receive collection bills even after asking if I should pay......

I have been taking my 88 year old mother to see Dr. Chu. He has a good bedside manner and is always very focused on her needs when we come in. I feel he takes her issues seriously, doesn't rush us out of the office, and has been responsive to requests.
