Dr. Jason W Cullen, DO

Polite and takes time to answer questions. I'm hoping he's on call when I deliver!

Well honestly my wife and I rarely if ever write reviews for ANYTHING, but we felt compelled to write one up for Dr. Cullen after the experience we had with him. The reason for this would be not to knock him, but maybe to wise him up and others when they think about see him as a patient. My wife and I were over the moon, first pregnancy got pregnant right away. Saw the heartbeat on the 6 week ultrasound, and we were to make an appointment with our doctor for an 8 week follow up ultrasound. Scheduling issues prevented us from seeing our OBGYN, since we were told anyone of the doctors may be in the delivery room we decided it wasn't a big deal to see someone else for this US. From the moment he walked in the room we both got the impression he had an AGENDA. Didn't shake our hands, introduce himself...this was the first time we are meeting him. Never sat down, first thing out of his mouth was so this is a follow up from your last ultrasound, your doctor said you were measuring "small."… Yes we had heard that, but this being our first time it didn't alarm us we don't know what's normal. From the moment he walked in the room he was very COLD. Sure enough there was no heartbeat, and he delivered us the worst news of our lives in the most non compassionate non empathetic way. I get that you have a lot of experience and you've delivered this news hundreds if not thousands of times, but show a little compassion. I happen to be an ICU RN, have seen hundreds of people pass on families looking at me to deliver the news since we are at the bedside. Never have I not shown some empathy to their situation. There was life at one point, we saw a heart beat. It's a fragile situation, your straight forward no nonsense demeanor doesn't work here. We understand that it's tough news to deliver, but there are better ways of going about it doctor. Reading most of the reviews it looks like he's someone good to go to for information when things are going well, but when something isn't quite right his demeanor turns people off. Think twice before seeing him

I went to see Dr.Cullen for a second opinion and was impressed by his professionalism and his knowledge. He spent a good amount of time explaining my condition and possible reasons for it. I'd definitely recommend this doctor!!!

Dr. Cullen saw me through 2 pregnancies and we really loved him!

Honestly didn't know what I was missing all these years going to gyno! I wanted to get a appointment ASAP and was disappointed that I couldn't see my regular doctor.... But boy am I glad I had the chance to have Dr. Cullen. He took his time , explained everything in detail (I was 8 weeks prego) and I now switch him to b my doc . It was a breath of fresh air for sure !

Yes, Dr. Cullen is well educated, soft spoken, means well, but there is something about his disposition or mannerisms that almost offend. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child, who is "measuring big." Dr. Cullen is well informed about pregnancy and the medical task at hand. He informed me that a C-section was a possibility for me due to the baby's size. I understand and am a fairly reasonable person, but for 2 weeks all I did was stress and freak out that at my next appointment I'd be carried away for a C-section. I realize this was not his intention, but maybe less medical information and a more down to earth and supportive comments. I feel that Dr. Cullen over shares his beliefs and medical education. I believe his wait time is less than other doctors because he may not have a developed patient list. I'd rather wait for a doctor that won't scare me.

The doc is willing to take as much time as you need to answer your questions, unlike most docs these days.He does have a kind of cold manner to him, never really see him smile??But he is straight forward.
