Dr. Jason Patrick Hochfelder, MD

Super arrogant. Was questioning the age of my other orthopedic surgeon because he’s somewhat older. This doctor needs bed side manners. He doesn’t have enough experience yet to realize this job is to service the patients of their community. Instead he was cold, unfriendly, and left after 10 minutes of doing little to nothing. He basically made me beg for referrals. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone. As a patient who is scared and confused this doctor has no empathy or concern for the people he sees. Clearly this is a paycheck for him

I had total right knee replacement. Surgery was 7:30 AM, I was home by 4:30PM same day. Recovery was even better than I expected. I followed his directions for exercise, icing, relaxing, and pain medication. Walked without assistance by day three, drove after three weeks, have resumed regular activities, move nimbly and without pain, better than during the past five years. Thank you Dr. Hochfelder!!!

Dr. Hockfelder was very compassionate and quickly found the problem to fix it. I am well on the way to full recovery.

Dr. Jason Hochfelder is a very confident in what he says particularly when it came to his diagnosis in my case in needing a Total Knee Replacement. He exam the x-rays thoroughly to let me know exactly what needed to be done. He is definitely a very competent surgeon and I felt completely safe and at ease in his hands. I know that he is a very busy surgeon, but wish he could take out a little extra time just talking. What I did appreciate before having the surgery at his office, he allow my adult children have a conference call so they could ask questions about having the surgery since they couldn't be in person because of the pandemic. So all in all he is a outstanding surgeon and I was happy to have him as my surgeon.

Dr. Hochfelder was very clear and confident in his diagnosis of the necessity of hip replacement in my situation. I was very impressed with his patience and clarity in answering every one of my many questions. His professionalism and expertise put me at ease. I have gone from walking with some degree of pain in virtually every step, to walking without any discomfort and being able to do most anything I did before. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result or with Dr. Hochfelder.

I felt that every step of the experience was explained in advance, and that the results were more than I could have expected!
