I read several reviews and in my opinion, I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs their services. The staff, the whole staff, was extremely kind, courteous and compassionate. I was totally happy with my procedure and the level of comfort they provided. Thank you to the entire staff, especially the ones that assisted in any part of my procedure. ??

Fastest appointment I’ve ever had. Didn’t really listen to me. On top of that I waited months for an appointment. If you schedule do yourself a huge favor and schedule for anyone else. Even if it’s a little longer of a wait.

This office doesn't even have the decency to call you with test results after a month or follow up. Attempted to resolve problem for about 3 weeks. WORST customer/patient service especially since I work in health care!!!!

I've had 2 procedures with Dr Sugar. He's nice, well spoken, and knows what he's doing.

My son has a real bad case of Crohn's disease, we have been going to dr. sugar 3 to 4 years now yet have rarely seen him in the flesh except for actual proceedures. Betty White, ARNP is the person we are guided to for office visits and infusions. She herself is very cold in my opinion and fails to meet my expectations for giving patient, "in my eyes" answers to my questions. My son takes Remicaid infusions for his Crohn's and she and Dr Sugar have not once even cheched out the side effects that my son has been having that I think is due to this medication. Fever, chills, rash,peeling skin etc. We are done!

Condescending, somehow got through med school apparently but fails at being a decent human being.

All the people at Digestive Health Specialist (Sunrise Campus in Puyallup) were great. True professionals at what they do! Made a stressful time easy.

Dr. Sugar and his staff treated me with courtesy and respect during my recent EGD procedue. They seemed professional at all times. However, the follow-up call was only left on my machine and I did not get to speak with the person calling personally which may have prevented my having to wait four days for my prescription medication. DHS failed to provide the pharmacy with the correct info for my precription to be filled.

I have never seen staff walk in a surgical room with their lunch and beverages. How about a burger with your colonoscopy after you haven't eaten for days and did a prep ? After the procedure I was not given any wipes or towel for clean up (gross). I was told I could get up and go home. The staff assumed I knew about my conditions and seemed put out when I stated, I didn't know. Above some minor conditions, I was told everything was fine by DR Sugar.... Two months later, I got a call from my GP, telling me, I needed to go for a follow up because I had cancer. Dr. Sugar stated he "didn't know why I wasn't informed of the results sooner or why nobody from his office called me" He seemed irritated that my GP informed me of the cancer, Which he reassured me I did not have. He stated he removed" all the cancer, and again reassured me , I didn't have cancer, just to "be safe I should see an oncologist". A month later I still had not received the needed referral. Finally… getting into the oncologist, I was told "He should have never told you that you don't have cancer". " He thinks, he got it". " He didn't test you or check to see if the cancer came from another place, it's not his specialty".
